ردحذفI think Mette-Marit looks gorgeous! I appreciate the boots in the rain outside, but I do wish that she'd changed to something with a heel inside; I think the flat shoes are what is making her look a bit dowdy.

حذفLouise i understand she has back problema, i understand its painful, i know myself, and wearing stilettos sure wont help but....cant she get a few pair of tailor shoes made just for her? A Nice pair of leather boots as well? I bet she can affort them and besides it woul be better than see her wearing country rain boots at a state visit.

حذفAfter reading a norwegian blog I can tell you that MM had big problems with her back and had to be supported by her husband. This is something she have had problems with since a fall in Ukraina in 2008. As we know she have had surgery before. She had to cancel the galla dinner last night. Can't see anything wrong with the clothes. She is in classic colors white dress, a beautiful black coat and cool box hat.

حذفI read a similar article. She suffered quite badly post surgery, suffering with mild depression ! Luckily for CP MM she was blessed with height, so even in no heels, she can carry an outfit off !
حذفAnnabel I'm Danish and read danish, norwegian and swedish news everyday and have never heard of a depression after surgery before. Are you sure it's not just slander or something the more fantasy press have made up? And yes Diane she fell very badly on a Unaids visit got a heavy concussion, neck and back pain especially. Journalists at the scene said it was a ugly fall and she had obviously a strong headache the last day when she forced herself making a speech.
حذفWell that is really so sad. I did not know she took such a nasty fall. Those falls can have lasting effects for many years. It is perfectly understandable why she would not wear heels. Bone pain is a terrible pain. Chronic pain is a life changer.

ردحذفThanks Louise for informing us about her neck and back issues. This really explains much for me. I have always thought her shoes were often 'off' for the occassion. Now I know why! Kudos to her for pushing on when she is obviously in pain much if the time.
