I wouldn't say that Marie is lazy, unlike Kate Who was jobless for years before her marriage, and is still the least working european royal. I think it's a question of position and importance within the royal family. Marie is only the second spouse of the second son. In the future, when the Crownprince's children will take over, Alexandra's sons will always be put before Marie's children.
I'm not a fan of the necklace - it sits too high on her neck for my taste; but the cape and dress are lovely, especially the simplicity of the gown. If only the navy of the cape matched the navy of the dress better...
What a beautiful couple these two make. Serene, nice and both ageing gracefully. Like his mother, Frederik seems so relaxed when Prince Henrik is not by their side. Maybe less tantrums and weird behaviour to endure? He is as handsome as ever.
