Three beautiful ladies together. I loved the top/jacket of Princess Sofia, elegant. Queen outfit the colour fits her beautiful - also very elegant
ردحذفSofia is a beautiful pregnant Princess.
حذفYes, she is glowing and beautiful like her royal sisters.
حذفindeed these princesses are gorgeous
حذفSofia doesn't look pregnant. Now I see why there are stories that Victoria is having twins.
حذفLovely SRF and dedicated hardworking Queen Silvia, Princess Madeleine and Sofia for this very worthy global Forum.
ردحذفPrincess Madeleine looks absolutely gorgeous. Love her interesting, yet very elegant and beautiful outfit. Her hair look so glossy and wonderful.. Also really like Queen Silvia. Its always so nice to see them working side by side.
ردحذفTake care, Miranda
H. R. M.?? CP Victoria
ردحذفSofia will never reach the charm and charisma of Madeleine - that's the difference between a real princess and bourgeois origin ... They are both gorgeous women , but only one has class , style and dignity .
ردحذفThat´s true. Princess Madeleine is the same as her mother the former Princess of Norway. The sandinavian royal women are real beautys and have real dignity for sure.
حذفAnonymous 18:33 I agree.
حذفAll those attributes really require a certain personal knowledge of whom you speak; certainly more than you'd get from the media. You know these ladies well, then?

حذفQueen Silvia was born as a not royal lady in Germany.
Queen Silvia is not a former princess of Norway. She was a commoner when she married King CG.
حذفWhat a small minded and ignorant thing to say Anony1833. Amazing. I think they all looked great tonight, pajama-clad criticism notwithstanding.
حذفATL of course you do, we know you don't like her. We remember your other comments about her...
حذفindeed some jealousy here. people usually criticize because they find their subject beautiful or something in that direction. i find the new princess really exquisite and she makes a good impression. she was clearly given some loving direction and tips and it shows
حذفWhat a dreadful thing to say about Sofia, not having the charm and charisma of Madeleine. I could suggest she has more?
حذفI think Sofia must have enormous quantities of charm and charisma, and she must have a delightful personality, otherwise she would not have caught the eye and captured the heart of a certain Prince and his family.
Sofia has thrown herself into herself into Royal duties with charm and style and she comes across as a delightful girl who is eager to fulfill her new role in life. It appears as though she is going to be a "working" Princess. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Sofia develops a work ethic similar to Crown Princess Victoria.
As for not being born with charm and charisma, I think anyone just needs to look at those who weren't born into the roles, to see when accepted into their new "Royal" families how well they perform in their roles. Queen Silvia, Queen Sonja and Queen Maxima are perfect examples of women who weren't born "Royal, but have become wonderful Queens and Princess Mary is also someone who wasn't born "Royal" but has adapted beautifully to the role of Crown Princess.
To me, the fact that Princes and Princesses can fall in love with "ordinary" people such as Prince Daniel and Princess Sofia, and Princess Mary, indicates how well grounded they are, it shows that they are not living a life of illusion, life in a bubble or grandeur, they obviously can relate to "real people". It says a lot about how their parent raised them, and their parents should be applauded for not raising pompous stuck up offspring.
Avant d'écrire d'énormes bêtises, vous feriez bien de vous renseigner !!! . Je pense que vous devez être d'une très haute lignée pour écrire un tel commentaire d'une telle suffisance !!
حذفExcuse you! A person does not have to be born into nobility to have charm and/or grace.
حذفI won't name names, but we don't have to look very far before we see questionable behaviour from so called "high born" people to see that they don't have as much "class" or "grace" as those born in the so called “lower stations” in life.
Money and noble birth might give people access to a good education, etiquette classes, deportment classes, and finishing schools, but it does not mean those exposed will avail themselves and make use of all that they should have learned. Money and noble birth does not make someone a good person. What is in someone’s heart and how they carry themselves through their life is what makes a person good person.
What you just said -- "that's the difference between a real princess and bourgeois origin" is an ignorant statement and a real insult to the rest of us not born to the royal manor. You have a lot to learn. And just that one demeaning statement indicates that you, yourself, are of "bourgeois origin".
ردحذفWell Sofia does have this past, and It will take some time for some people to get over that.
حذفMaybe she or he means that with it!
If not I agree with you completely,as a not royal lady.
I think Sofia looked fine here, but liked princess Madeleine outfit beter.
I agree Beverley24, it was gratuitous of Anon 18: 33 to insult anyone and everyone who is not born noble/royal -- which includes not only us readers, but Queen Silvia, Queen Sonya, Queen Maxima, Queen Letizia, Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Mary, Princess Marie (Denmark), Princess Mabel, Princess Charlene and the late Princess Grace, and the Duchesses of Wessex and Cambridge. That's a lot of royals to accuse of lacking "class, style and dignity".
حذفReally, Beverly2419:22? I'm not royal and I'm certainly not insulted. And there IS a difference between Madeleine and Sofia. Why does everybody nowadays get offended at every little comment. It's not an ignorant statement - where have you been? It's differing opinions, we're not out to "offend".
حذفMadeleine is born royal, you can tell she learned deportment from early on. Sofia is a commoner and will have to learn later in life and hopefully become more and more in tune with her new life.
A24-45. You forgot the non-royal born Diana, and the awful Camilla, and Anne's 2 husbands Sophie Wessex is not a duchess but a countess, And the beautiful Mathilde of Belgium, her parents acquired their titles of noblesse after she became engaged to Philippe, and in Belgium also, Fabiola and Paola were noblesse but not royal. It goes on and on. But if you take the Brits as an example, it was long overdue that they had new blood in this over-inbred family. Every single royal in Europe was and to some extent still is related, way too much inbreeding. I am no fan of Sofia, I find her very ordinary, but that's only my opinion, and Madeleine IS to the manor-born. Then, there are also royal born kings and queens, princes and princes who could better be called clowns. Ooh, and you forget "princess" Marie-Chantal of Greece, when the Greek dynasty has long been dead, they are still called king and queen - Anne-Marie and Constantin - and princes and princesses. Personally I find Marie-Chantal common and a bitch.
حذفprincess diana had more blue blood than charles
حذفHer Royal Majesty
ردحذفThe three royal ladies were beautiful! What I don't understand: why was only CP Victoria absent due to the situation in Sweden? Wasn't the risk for the other royale as big as for her?
ردحذفAccording to Kungahuset, having both His Majesty and The Crown Princess in the same room could cause a huge security situation. There has been a few security situation or threats to Sweden in the last couple of weeks. And since she is the 2nd in line to throne she is the second target after the king
حذفAfter the King, CP is the biggest target in the royal family. Having her in a more secure and under tight security zone was important instead of being in the same room as her father
حذفLike the U.S. whenever there is a gathering of all government in one place (State of the Union, etc.) there is always one head of government, a Secretary/Minister who is in a secret location, just in case.
حذفVictoria is first in line to the throne, not second. That's her daughter Estelle.
حذفVictoria is first in line to the throne, not second. That's her daughter Estelle.
حذفZef at the royal place??? What does the security at the palace do? Sit on their ass scartching their head? The stupid thing is after this the spokesperson Margareta Thorgren says ...ubs my mistake the CP had other dutys...other dutys? This meeting have been sceduled on her calendar for ages. Why not just say the CP needs rest it's been to much on her plate lately(this is problably the truth).
حذفI choose to disagree; Princess Sofia has class, grace, style, dignity, warmth, enthusiasm, dedication and duty to the people of Sweden. She loves her husband, and she is happy. I salute her jumping into her duties.
ردحذفj'approuve votre respectueux commentaire
حذفMadeleine is absolutly perfect!
ردحذفSofia and those eyes of her .....she must have graves' disease or something....very odd look.
Wow! Fashion commentary and a diagnosis. You must be special!
حذفbeautiful hair, Madeline!!
ردحذفSofia is trying to look fashionable, but it's not working. Her pants look like the ice-cream-cones styles that were in fashion back in the late 1970s. Her legs look short and her hips look wide. The top isn't too bad, but she might have tried a softer hairstyle and looser slacks with it (and ditch those nasty boots). The model wears it as a casual outfit; Sofia tried turning it into something fit for an occasion at the palace, but it flopped.
ردحذفMadeleine's outfit is lovely.
Well Letizia has done even more debatable decisions in his former life, yet she is a queen who are praised to the skies. Are you in doubt google books written about her included the one from her cousin and she figures on a CD cover where she does exactly the same as what is just against Sofia. So obviously it's about the person not background ...
ردحذفIt is nice to see all the ladies in the family support this conference. They all looked lovely.
ردحذفPrincess Madeleine looks simply gorgeous. So chic and stylish. And her hair look amazing like this. So silky and glossy.
ردحذفCan't wait to see her at the Nobel ceremony and a day after event.
Can anyone tell me when C/P Victoria and Princess Sofia are due to have their babies please.
ردحذفAccording to the announcement by the Sveriges Kunghaus: C/P Victoria is due to give birth to her second child in March 2016.
حذفPersonally I have a feeling that she'll have her baby mid/end of February.
Sofia: The birth is expected to take place in April of 2016 (ca. 1 month after Victoria).
If I didn't know it, then I'd say that Sofia is not pregnant. Victoria is already showing her big belly but Sofia hardly shows. I guess women are different with their pregnancies and pregnancy shows differently.
Isn't if funny when Letizia had this jacket Madeleine is wearing the comments were ugly cape, no it's so beautiful....
ردحذفPrincess Sofia is gorgeous and she looks wonderful and is developing her own style. She knows she is under the eyes of criticism of many people throughout the world, can't measure up to her sisters in law, has to deal with judgement about her previous lifestyle, will be criticized and belittled on a daily basis, even if it is not the truth. It can't be easy for her, but she's out there doing it daily, joining the family and doing some charities on her own. I admire her each time I see her out and about again. I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't have some bad days seeing that it's early in her pregnancy, but she keeps on going. I think she's a great Princess, and she keeps on going.
