Crown Princess Mary of Denmark attends the "St. Loye Prize 2015" ceremony at Round Tower on October 2, 2015 in Copenhagen, Denmark. (St. Loye prize has been awarded every three years for he best Danish jewelry designer. The prize comes with 100,000 DKK and is accompanied by an exhibition and activities programme in Copenhagen. The aim is to present the many components of jewellery art and holloware – craftsmanship, artistry and design. St. Petersburg Loye or Eligius, is the patron saint of goldsmiths, blacksmiths and all metalworkers. He lived during the early Middle Ages in what is now France. Kjøbenhavns Guldsmedelaug was founded in 1429 and is one of the world’s oldest guilds with written laws."
