  2. Talk about COLORFUL! Wow! My eyes are in overdrive looking at those bright colors on Maxima and Mathilde. But they both do look spectacular.

Yes, she is, and so is her hat! Funny how both Mathilde and Maxima, commoners, have landed princes who became kings, and the are so warm ad simple compared to "royal born" royals

Love the outfits!! However, Matilda's hat is so boring, wish she had a different one.

"Commoner" is defined differently depending on the country. Mathilde belongs to the nobility but not royalty. She is a lovely woman, the first ever Belgian-born spouse of a king. Both she and Maxima, not born into stuffy royal circles, are much more attuned to people, they both worked before marriage, as did queen Letizia of Spain, also a commoner, all 3 are much more in touch with reality.

Fabulous outfits... Each.. We lived in NL (Holland) when Maxima became a princess. The 'commoner' discussion was sorted many years ago, and she has won the hearts and minds of the country and represents iwith much dignity. The 'commoner' discussion, I believe is an old fashion thing, as it will be (if not already) that every royal house in Europe ( and Japan, I believe) will have a spouse out of 'their country gentry' if you will (male would be in Sweden). These men and women giveup their private, working lives solely for the crown(s). And many of the women (of gentry) "did not want the job". I hope we can turn to give these folks all of our full respect and honour that they deserve; and frankly, there is nothing common or ordinary about any of them.

  9. Well, here we have two beautiful and very elegant women .......... two queens who have an excellent sense of dressing code ... Mathilde is a pretty woman. Maxima is a typical Latin woman .......... an Argentinian beauty ............. I like them both !!!!!!

Mathilde doesn't need to wear a belt with all her outfits.
