I love the new haircut, and I also love her outfit. True, this could look good on a woman of any age, but it certainly doesn't look too "granny" on her!
And the duchess of cambridge, and queen maxima, and any queen/princess really. It's a very classic conservative style outfit. I don't think it's an old lady outfit at all. Very appropriate for a 42 year old woman and for the occasion.
