On January 16, 2018, Princess Marie of Denmark taught French at Vejen High School (Vejen Gymnasium og HF) as a guest teacher. During the lesson, French proverbs and stories about Paris were mentioned. The Princess was born in Paris and in addition to French and Danish, she speaks Spanish. On January 15, 2018, Queen Rania of Jordan met with the founders and volunteers of Nashmi Center for Youth Empowerment at Beit Shams in Jabal Amman. Crown Princess Victoria caught a severe cold. She had to cancel her attendance program for Community and Defence National Conference (Folk och Försvar) which will be held in Sälen today and on Monday. Royal Court's information officer, Ulrika Näsholm announced that only King Gustaf will attend the conference. Crown Princess Victoria could not attend information briefing of Ministry of Foreign Affairs held on January 11, at the Royal Palace although her attendance was in official program. It is not known yet that whether Crown Princess Victoria will attend the events relating to official visit of President of Iceland between the dates of January 17-19 or not.

Queen Maxima of The Netherlands opened renovated Arnhem Music House. Historical Music House was completely renovated. Music House is a multifunctional house of Arnhem city and the region. Yesterday evening, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene arrived in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso. The Prince and the Princess were welcomed by President Roch Marc Christian Kaboré of Burkina Faso and his wife Sika Bella Kaboré at Ouagadougou airport.
