  1. Such a severe style and with that hairdo...not flattering to her at all.

  2. I´m glad she didn´t go for all black as everyone else, and the deep blue makes sense for a "Below the water"-conference. But still, blue and black together is tricky, and not done successfully here in my view. And I get the feeling that the whole look was constructed around the bag that combines those two colours.
Also, to my eyes, the peter pan collar is totally wrong with the jacket on top (and looks too much nurse-/nun-like anyway), and the severe hairstyle is a usual minus.
I´m just glad that Victoria opted for long trousers to wear with her booties rather than her usual booties-with-skirt look (which I despise).

    1. Booties don't go well with anything - they're just plain ugly

    2. Yes, Vanessa. That was my thought too - nun or visiting nurse!

  3. The pants suit is fine, but the choice of collar on the blouse detracts from the overall look. Gives the contemporary pant suit an old-fashioned look.

  4. Soweit so gut.

  6. Know I'm overreacting but this is just horrible. I can only imagine what image she was aiming for in this look. A change in any element would have been an improvement but she really needs to start with the hair. The booties weren't even high enough to hide that flesh strip between the boot and the pant while she was walking.
Heather was 100% correct - "too severe!"

  8. Okay, I'm done. I no longer want to comment on Victoria as long as she has the same over-the-head-tightly-slicked-down hair. Her hair look like this all the time! For the daytime event. For the evening events. When she's more casual. Sorry all Victoria's fans but I'm sick of it.

  9. I like all about the jacket, nice color and cut. Trousers are too short but model is nice. Peter Pan collar is not my favorite. Booties, I am a shoe person but never had any booties, they never look any good.

    1. Booties are hard to style, in my opinion. I have a pair with open toes and although I love them it's almost impossible for me to find an outfit which looks good with them. In this instance, as well, they just look awkward. *sigh*

  10. Vickan is my favourite royal by far. Since I can remember, and I truly like her style. She is poised, natural and elegant. Stop this top models fashion, please!!! Being a good queen is not all about clothes... That's the reason why I do loathe queens like Letizia(And I am Spanish, by the way) or CPs like Mary of Denmark or the Duchess of Cambridge... All narcisistic women who only care about theirselves and their appearance. SUPERFICIAL:(((
