  1. I like Silvia´s getup here, although it´s a bit dark.
Don´t care for Victoria´s dress, but at least she has better make-up this time (compared to last time she wore that dress).
Sofia´s dress is nice but too long. Her gala dress often are too long. And she could use a necklace.

    1. You are so right about Victoria's makeup at the Nobels! I think it was mostly her eyeshadow. My least loved Saab dress of all and she recycles it...lol.

Sofia pulls off that steel cut tiara so incredibly well. It sparkles against her dark hair. Her dresses are always long. Maybe she takes her shoes off at dinner and she hides them under the excess fabric😜

  3. Oh, and I think Sofia´s make-up here is scary.

  4. I like the colour and top of Sofia's dress, but it really doesn't suit her face and high forehead to have her hair split in the middle and pulled back. It makes her face look really long. Victoria is okay. The queen is the winner tonight.

  5. I love the color of Sofia's dress, she looks beautiful. I like Victoria's dress color too. I do not care for the queen's dress but I like the wrap. Jer hair looks kind of strange.

  6. I love all the ladies' dresses and tiaras. I think Sofia's red dress is beautiful on her and to think another baby on the way! Wonderful news. She is wearing the small cut steal tiara. Victoria is wearing her Elie Saab dress. This is about the third or fourth time to repeat that beautiful dress! She is wearing Lillian's tiara and that necklace is gorgeous with it! Well done ladies!

  8. Sofia is just glowing, love her dress. She wears Small Steelcut Tiara better than Victoria ever did. Victoria´s Elie Saab looks better this time than before. Emerald necklace is magnificent. Don´t like Silvia´s cape/scarf but the dress is beautiful.

  9. Queen Silvia's gown doesn't do much for me.

While Victoria's gown is not one of my favourites, I think Victoria looks lovely, green suits her and the accompanying jewellery looks lovely.

I really like Sofia's gown. I love the colour and the simplicity of the gown. A very elegant choice and I think Sofia looks lovely.

  10. Queen Silvia looks very lovely in dark blue.
I also liked rich red color of Sofia's gown. I would have added lovely necklace because her front looked bare but neverless it was one of Sofia's best looks. Sofia's belly already starts to show ;)
Victoria...this dress has a lovely design and fit but its fabric is so glittering that it totally ruins this dress for me. And her tiara-hair seem to be the same most of the time (combed over her head, just like prince Daniel's hair). Sorry but her hair are boringly styled, I wish she would surpise us with something softer and feminine for a change. But I'm about to give up on her!.

    1. Some actually say they are less stiff than the british but I actually disagree. The BRF seems more gown to earth to earth even when all eyes in the world are on them. It must be diffecult but they try to be themselfs. :)

    3. You must be one of those miserble, always complaining Swedes. Feel sorry for you

    4. I'd say it is all the opposite. Should think to what the Members of Royal Swedish family are doing rather than are wearing. It is a sober dawn to earth dedicated family involved in several health and social projects.
Great admirable Royal Family. Swedish people love them!

    5. Cini, I don't know if you are right. Look to Sweden nowadays. It is so sad what happens. As Royals and Representat.. they could have done more for the sake of their beautiful country. And it is not about health projects. Women do not want leave their homes anymore in the evening.
This is not the Sweden we want.

    7. I like the blue and the green dress.
Coralie and Rainha, I would like to hear more about situation in Sweden. Why are you afraid to leave homes? Is it something about politics, imigrant crisis..?

    8. Lassie, from my point of view - and my experience - it is about not feeling safe anymore when going by bus or tube. It has to do with, well, "different attitudes" from people who grew up in "different cultures" about how men and women behave in public. If you know what I mean.

    9. I understand you and feel sorry for your people in Sweden. We don't want to be rude but something is clearly wrong. I am glad we don't have as big problems here in Croatia.
Stay positive! I wish your situation would improve.

    10. Thank you for your friendly words, Lassie!

  12. Victoria's dress just looks cheap and tacky to me - something picked up in a shopping mall to wear to a high school prom.
Silvia looks great and the style and colour of the dress is lovely. Although I agree it's too long. I wonder how she walked without stepping on the hem.
The queen's dress is very dark. The dress itself might be interesting (lace sleeves?) but we can't see it. She did something similar recently with a red evening dress covered up by a wrap. Spoils the look.

    1. Ha, ha Heather: I am sure, that Eli Saab dress cost a fortune!!
But all in all, everything looks "dusty" for that event.

  14. I think Victoria looks nice and I really am grateful this time she went for a hairstyle different than the tightly pulled back one. The same applies to Sofia: the middle parting is still not my favourite but her updo is more relaxed, not that ugly licked to her head style and that is a great improvement. Her makeup though is just scary and looks too heavy in my opinion and her dress just doesn't work - I have no idea why, the colour is good and becoming to her, the cut seems ok but the whole is just in lack of something. Some sleeves maybe? 3/4 lenght sleeves would definitely improve it.
I have to say however the small cut steel sits very well on her head. The placing is perfect and it looks better on her than it ever did on Victoria and than any other tiara on Sofia, including her emerald wedding piece. I guess it has to do something with a lucky constellation of the tiara's curve and her face shape.
Silvia is appropriate and perfectly polished as always but she needs some blusher on her cheeks and I guess it would be time for her to go for a softer hair colour instead of this too dark brown. I know it's her true hair colour but it's obvious anyway that it's dyed so she could at least try...
