  1. Well ~

    Stephanie's hair is very nice.

    Her coat is too short.

The coat is navy blue with black blocks on the sides?

The coat would be fine if we did not see a pink dress hanging 6" below.

Well we did score one for no plastic hair clips. So progress.

    I really do not understand.

She looks sloppy. She does. Surely she has a coat that is longer? Come on now

    1. You are so right. I will never like coats shorter than the dress/skirt you wear underneath. And the coat seems to be too tight, look at the picture where they are all standing on the stairs.

    2. I agree!

      It is beyond logic.

Pink dress with a dark navy coat with black blocking and white zippers or decorative trim ? Blech

But her hair is good and she does have a nice smile. Her stance is very stiff and awkward on the steps.

    3. We see all the royal lady's with shorter coats from time to time so obviously it's not a fashion faux pas. We have seen this on runways and fashion spread too, but what we personally like is another story😉

  2. They both look nice, like Duchess Maria Teresa color and style of jacket.

  3. The shorter coat would have looked OK if the dress had a narrow skirt, preferably in navy (or navy print). And she never knows what to do with her hands (sigh).

  4. M.T. should take care of her daughter in law's wardrobe....she has a great taste and knows (despite her figure) how to dress. Stephanie Always looks horrible. There is something about the girl. I think she has a lovely character, but she is a displaced person. She's unhappy, rarely smiles, has NO interaction with her husband whatsoever and then there is the NO BABY YET problem. I feel for her....Time flies....you are young just once. This is the time to be in love and happy, she really looks like she carries a burden. The whole world on her shoulders, nothing natural, just doing HER DUTIES....poor girl!

    1. You can not say that Stephanie is not in love or unhappy not knowing her in person .
Don't you know the saying"don't judge a book by its cover"?
      Stop being a clairvoyant! LOL

  5. María Teresa looks classy and chic as usual. I can just repeat what Diane and Shellsea said: Stephanie's hair is really nice this time and I was like "wow" seeing the first pictures but then came photo n. 7 and there, her skirt/dress peeking out from under a too short coat. Very well said Diane, I cannot believe she doesn't have a longer coat. Or at least she could have put on a dark blue skirt so that it isn't that obviously short. And yes, she could (again) borrow the D. of C's little bag clutching trick and hold her hands (a clutch in her hands) like Kate does. It would also help her look more composed. On pic 9, where they stand on the stairs you can see her coat stretching to her sides. She looks like a very reluctant schoolgirl on a yearly class photo session.

    1. The photos have been changed since I commented and now I see the white pockets on the coat?

I have no understanding of WHY?

  6. That navy blue coat with black sections sporting white-rimmed pockets is about the ugliest piece of clothing I have ever seen. What designer would admit putting it together?

  7. I like her outfit, there´s nothing wrong with it. I don´t mind the skirt being longer than the coat either, because the skirt is not just "sticking out" but quite a bit longer, it doesn´t look like a mistake; in fact, it makes perfect sense with the white pocket panel picking up the colour of the skirt. She looks nice here. (And please, we don´t need her to hold a clutch in an iron grip on front of her, like Kate.)

  8. In the second photo, where Stephanie is signing the document, I find her very appealing. You cannot fully see what she is wearing and her face is gentle and sweet.

Was struck by the photo of Stephanie standing next to Henri. She looks more like Henri's daughter than Guillaume looks like his son.
