  4. Her hairstyle is beautiful indeed! But the dress is not so good. She is just bone and skin, like Letizia, but Letizia has much much better posture and work ethic. Perhaps Kate souldn't wear such high heels, maybe different shoes would make her feel better.
In conclusion, the dress is a mistake, but the hair-bingo!

    1. How do you know she feels bad in high heels? And what has posture and work ethic to do with what she's wearing? There is a big big different between her and Letizia. Letizia is a queen, Cathrine is only a duchess married to the second in line to the throne. And why complaine that she's working to little. She has to young children and Charlotte is only 5 months old. We don't see anyone complaints that the swedes are on 1 years maternity leave...do we! This kind of dress have we seen on others before and guess what then it was gorgeous...some can never win and some are untouchable...

    2. kate is LAZY!! never worked before marriage and using her kids to stay out of work, while enjoying the perks and privileges of a senior royal, she has lots of staff, sophie who is her junior does more work the queen who is 89 years does 300 engagements a year, kate barely does 50 a year, mostly sports and galas, shes a lousy royal and lazy royal, and her dress sense is awful!!

    3. I was waiting for someone like you to leave an angry comment. I have my opinion, what is wrong with that? And yes, I can compare who I want. Letizia has better posture and works more. Catherine has more beautiful smile and face. Thank you for your kindness, your majesty, Anonymus.

    14. Totally AGREE!

11:57 correct. 2016 her and carol will scam William the Weak to become pregnant again, another HG year ('pregnancy as an illness'), extended maternity leave - NEVER SERVING HM, POW, the people. No need to have 2 under 3 babies. They her mother choose that strategy to remain lazy, enjoying all senior perks, privileges (middleton family for the past 14 years), while ignore royal duties to HM, Prince Charles who fund her expensive gowns/wardrobe looking old, frumpy, unroyal skeleton wearing; and to the people charities who provide all her the kids luxury lifestyle..

  8. I think the dress is very elegant but yes, she is too thin. She's not a pop star, Anonymous 23.32, one has to be dressed properly for a world premiere gala event. Everyone is wearing evening clothes.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Well, she looks more dressed as a celebrity (awful dress on her), than a regal hrh!

This is what she wants only be out with celebrities - no noble duties, work or cause for HM - the people who are funding the lazy family lifestyle with millions, luxury palaces and staff.

      Delete
  9. The dress itself isn't too bad; but on her it's terrible, she's too thin for that style, it's for someone with nice curves who will fill it out. It's almost too big on her, something isn't right, it just hangs on her. She's 33, bra-less is not a good look on her.

  14. The hair style is fantastic first of all . The dress is stunning but not on her !!! I like the colour of the dress too much . I think it is not about what Kate wears , it is about is she really enjoys what she does??

    ReplyDelete
  15. I like the color of the dress, I like her earrings and a big YES to her hairdo. But as always with her, there is something which ruins the whole look. Her clutch and her shoes are tacky. And her dress hangs on her. She might be too thin but that is not the question, she must have tons of people who could have made it more fitting for her. And going bra less like this has never been the most classiest thing to do when you are a royal. Disappointing.

    1. Wise words! Very well noticed. I agree with you about her whole look. I must admitt she looks better in some simple ocasions. I was impressed with her clothes when she was pregnant wit George. That was her best fashion period.

  20. It is nice to see Kate with her hair done, however I feel she hides behind her hair, and is reluctant to show her face.

The gown is very pretty, it is no more revealing than any of the backless dresses that Diana wore, and the gown probably has inbuilt bust support, but I doubt that Kate needs much support as she is so thin.

I may well be wrong, but Kate does not look like a happy young woman. Her posture is not that of a happy and confident young woman. Before she married, she looked happier and her posture was much better.

    I hope all is well.

  21. What a stunning dress! Kate looks great!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hair, jewellery, dress, shoes, stunning! However, the dress does not fit Kate very well in the front (the back is fabulous), it makes her look more skinny that I think she actually is. (Having said that, she should probably try to get a bit more meat on the bones)

    ReplyDelete
  23. I love her look and that dress is so beautiful on her :-) But please feed her!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Gorgeous celebrity-style dress on the model, less so on Kate. She should opt for something more demure. And she´s too thin, it´s simply not the right shape for her. She´s drowning in all that fabric, and doesn´t fill it right. Also, I wish the colour was more blue and less gray. But: great updo and beautiful earrings.
Kate has great potential, but doesn´t generally dress to her best advantage. And, more importantly, I continuously see a huge clash between her glam outfits at such events and her body language that says shy and unconfident. If you want to look really great, you´ve got to own the look. She never does and thus looks like a little girl dressed up most of the time. I don´t want her do adopt a celebrity style pose but she needs poise and must work on both posture and body language, which can be learnt. She would ideally also need some charisma, though I doubt that can be learnt.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I agree with you. Body language is very important for leaders, royals and celebrities. Anonymus attacked me when I said something about her posture but we can clearly see she does not feel comfortable. It is not bad, it is something that people notice. Letizia has the best posture which tells us she is very confident. This is not always good, but nevermind. I like Victoria because she always looks comfortable among people and you can see she loves her job. Mary and Maxima were not born royal but they have accepted their role very good, Kate should learn from them.

      Delete
    2. Letizia's posture is hilarious and nobody should learn anything from her. One day she's gonna crack her back. If she's so confident why has she done so many plastic surgeries to change her look? Please stop comparing Kate with Letizia , different age&background and different taste. Kate is natural, beautiful&stylish while Letizia is fake, show off, histerical&control freak.

      Delete
    3. Ok, I will do as you say. But I do not agree with you. It is an interesting connection between self esteem and surgeries, I should think about that. But once again, Letizia is not my favourite, but she has perfect posture! It could not be better!

      Delete
    4. Though I agree that Letizia´s posture is a bit extreme (too bust-y, if that makes sense), I think it comes across as such mainly because most people seriously slouch these days, and it´s just a big contrast. And I´d take Letizia´s sharp posture over Kate´s slouching any day.

    2. I'm not complaining - I'm worried about her.
And you're right about Letizia and Rania - but that is nothing new. And they are both mature women.

Kate is very young and vulnerable.

  28. Stunning is all I can say.

As to the above rant and language? Is this high school? Such treatment and attacking is not warranted. Who moderates this blog? If you cannot say anything nice about the Duchess then why read any post about her? Just scroll on by. I have no real need to read about Victoria. No real reason just no interest. I scroll on by without attacking her.

    Again Kate looked wonderful!

    1. You say people should only write the good things. What is the point of discussion then? We are all free to notice both good and bad things. And what is wrong with Victoria?

      Delete
    2. Very well said! Everyone is so hateful towards Kate when she has done nothing wrong...she's the youngest & prettiest royal. Why does nobody critisize Princess Madeleine who left her country 5 years ago and still wants all the privileges without doing anything in return?

      Delete
    3. Well, that is an interesting opinion. I like Madeleine, but I think that a person with royal title should not live abroad. It seems she does not respect her country. Maybe I am wrong, but that is how I see the situation.

      Delete
    4. Lassie I did not say that we should only write the good things. I good discussion is indeed fun and one often learns something new. But the words above included some profanity albeit in acronym form. Also they seemed rather personal towards one another. Rather like the playground chatter. She hit me..no she hit me first. Good grief.

A chat about clothes and patronages is great. But of all one can say is that Kate is 'lazy' etc then who wants to discuss that on here? Personally comparing her to Letizia is just ridiculous. Kate is NOT the Queen nor is she next in line to be Queen. People seem to forget this bit of info. I think it wonderful that she is allowed to maintain a normal life for the children and her marriage. Lord knows the last generation didn't have that time and look how that all ended?! Badly. I have no doubt that for the Queen wanted Kate to do more she would be out more.

She has 2 under 3. That is work even with a Nanny. I suspect and it is clear that Kate is a wry hands on Mother.

It is interesting to me how so many can bash he when they have no idea what really goes know behind the closed doors. We should not assume anything. I am happy to see her pit and about and I admit I go into withdrawal when she is MIA. But I also like that she can be MIA. She and William will have years and years in the trenches. Once Charles becomes King things will change drastically.

As to what is wrong with Victoria? Nothing. In just am not interested in her. I am sure she is lovely. Her daughter Estelle is beautiful. But I am not a follower of the Swedish Royal Family. So I am not going to comment one way or another when I have no opinion one way or the other.

Thank you Anon 22.30 for the support !

      DB

    5. I enjoy reading peaceful comments like yours and hearing other opinions which are not angry but polite. Thank you.
Personally I am not interented in Belgian Royal Family. I still thing comparing Leti and Kate is acceptable, especially in fashion. Fashion should actually be our main toppic here. I heard that it takes years to find a personal style and confidence, so good luck Catherine.

    6. DB Thank you, couldn't agree more! It looks like some girls in here are untouchable and some can never win, everything is wrong with them.

  29. Dear DB thank you for explaining about Kate, since this family has had to face tragedy when William and Harry lost their mother. I'm sure they want to spend every moment with their little ones.
