  2. always a first act, Princess mary thinks she is the Queen well in fact she would be the consort to the King of Denmark.

  3. what protocol when it comes to the princess there is nor protocol, she will do what ever she thinks like she is the Queen, .

  4. I'm so jealous of Princess Mary! Her husband Crown Prince Frederik is such a handsome man! My heart melts when I see him.

  5. Mary likes the late Princess Diana encapsulates their husbands and their husbands become their shadow. Unfortunely Mary doesn't have the wisdom to learn the lesson. Protocol or not & gentlement or not, all men are the same - they want to feel important & strong. Not to mention they are the future King.
I observe that Letizia walks either behind or beside her husband. She is pretty, stylist, confidence & strong and yet these attractiveness doesn't encapsulate her husband. She lets her husband be the lead. I like her wisdom about this.

    1. She always walks in front of him; she doesnt follow the protocol, even maxima is often in front of her husband...besides this princess Mary looked amazing! Take note Maxima

      Besides

    2. Mette-Marit also walks in front sometimes , I feel all these men are sure of their position and have the loving women of their choice. are very popular in their home countries and therefore do not always feel the need to stamp their authority. Others I think do not have the same security which makes them insecure.

  7. Perhaps Prince Frederik prefers to let his wife speak on these occasions . He knows that she can say all that is necessary and he may not find public speaking comes naturally. They seem happy together, and both are a pleasure to look at .

  8. It is so lovely to see a gentleman show his wife the door first and let him precede him, this is a thoughtful and caring husband. As protocol depicts Fredrik greeted the people first then Mary does so it was already establish that he is the future king, Then as a man that is sure of his position strong and sure of the love, support and respect of his wife lets her go before him, this is so sweet to see.

  9. Well now our dear Mary is the Crown Prince read what it says when she gives her speech. I wonder what language she spoke? Since she is totally inarticulate in both languages. So wish for HRH Princess Marie to be the future queen. What a class act. Or the current Queen to live forever.

    1. You need to build a bridge and if you can't do it by yourself go get some help and soon.
HRH Crown Princess Mary will make one great Queen Consort while Marie will be little more than a socialite from the suburbs. Pleased you said act because that is really what Marie does.

    2. Are you trying to be funny on purpose? Great Queen Consort as among the Gucci and Prada crowd. HRH Princess Marie does NOT need to act she was brought up with class and education. She did not have to learn how to walk a straight line in some "Princess school" unlike our dear Mary!

    3. Marie did have lessons in deportment and had to learn the royal ways. She is ok but please do not make her out to be some sort of perfect package it does her no service and sometimes hinders.

I agree with the other anon and think that Mary will make a wonderful Queen consort.

    4. I think that Crown Princess Mary is doing very well and they make such a lovely couple.
She seems like a very warm, caring, educated, stylish woman.
Don't understand why so many people are so hateful towards her. She's not a woman who has posed half naked nor with the snake nor seeked cheap attention in the reality shows.
As you may have guessed, Mary is my favourite Crown Princess ;)

      Take care, Miranda

    5. Mary really is a woman with style. Why is everyone so obsessed with Marie? Joachim has such bad personality and Marie dresses so dull in comparison to Mary. Mary always chooses elegant shoes and numerous colours, but I don't like some aspects of her work, such as promoting pro choice politics. She is not very warm, but at least warmer than Letizia. Please Angie, criticise me for this. The warmest CP is definitely Victoria and she is my favourite.

    6. Are we picking fights now, Lassie? Can't we stick to style commentary and leave the arm-chair psychoanalysis, ill-informed political commentary and playground baiting to the NFL blogs?

Sorry you make Letizia sound like a second class citizen always following her husband never to be an equal and if her husband needs to be always shown that he is at top of the pecking order it does not sound like a joint relationship. He is king yes, can he not show her respect and let her go into a door first but to always make her like a shadow in the night. so sad Maybe this why she is never looks really happy has lost so much weight and had the work on her face . I think we would all feel this way if our husbands treated us like this.

    1. How true!
Protocol or no protocol, modern woman no longer has to live in the shadows of the husband. When I look at Crown Princess Mary, then I see happy, content and beautiful woman. When I look at Letizia, then I see stiff and unhealthy woman. Sad.
That Mary is so active, then that is a big bonus and she always seems like a very warm and caring towards people and I certainly like her.

BTW: did not like the outfit she wore. She has worn better outfits for the event.

  11. I see you deleted a thread. You don't like some people's opinions. Mary is all about herself, as is Letizia. But whatever. I am done with this website. Thanks.

Yes Queen M II is the head of the family and must be shown respect, the Danes have a lovely royal family, the Queen is wonderful and they warm caring and happy Crown Prince and Princess. This family would probably be my favourite royals of all.

  19. Since Crown Princess Mary is warm , capable , caring , active in good causes , clearly loved by her husband , a good mother and very respected by her M-I-L the Queen I cannot see why some posters would object to her ! What more could anyone want from a future Queen Consort ?
To compare her with Princess Marie is absurd , their roles are different , their up-bringing , and no doubt their personalities too. Each has her place.

  20. This website reminds me of some soccer matches where the refs don't call the chippiness early on in the game thinking it best to play on and by the time the second half rolls around, cards are flying but it's too late and they've lost all control of the game. Isnt this a style website?

  21. I loved Mary's dress. I am not a lover of too much black, but the style of this dress I liked. I like the full skirt, the eyelet on the bottom of the skirt and the brooch she wore with it and the shoes! Well styled! Does anybody know more about the brooch?

    1. The beautiful brooch is part of the ruby parure as are the the earrings(the top of them) I love how versatile and how Mary uses the jewellery.

  22. You know, I've never met these Royal people so I have no idea what they're like. All I can assess is their look & style & Mary has an excellent & very consistent stylist. I think the make up makes her look older than she is & the hair is a little tight in appearance but it's a fabulous dress

  23. Stunning! Mary looks beautiful and very, very elegant. In my opinion she rarely gets it wrong.
