Queen Maxima at United Nations conference in New York

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands attended the UN conference on tackling climate change at the United Nation in New York City, NY, USA on Sunday September 27, 2015. Later, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima met with the prime ministers of Aruba, Curacao and St. Maarten. Action in this area is one of the seventeen new sustainable development goals that have adopted the UN Member States. The 69th Session of the UN General Assembly begins September 24.
