  3. Whoa - over the top even for Maxima. She looks like she's ready to eat the Governor General's wife, too funny and intimidating at the same time. Wonder what they're chatting about.

    1. Maxima's hair: "...and then I had to use about three cans of hairspray..."

  4. The hair and makeup is to much, she is certainly now starting to go excessive with all her outfits, way, way over the top. Not liking what she is wearing theses days.

    2. To Anonymous May30, 10:35am - Some of us don't like Maxima's look in these photos, so what, we don't all have to agree. Maxima doesn't look like a queen here, she looks like a celebrity out for attention to steal the show. Maxima lo-o-o-oves attention, and this dress and hair (yikes) prove it. Poor KING Willem-Alexander stands beside her in his plain suit and white shirt while she flaunts herself. There, hope you like that!

  5. If she could tame the hair tidal wave and lose the necklace, this would have a been a lovely outfit. But, as usual, A+ for effort!

  6. The neckline doesn't work with the collar of the dress and the dress needs a belt but I will always love Queen Max!!

  9. I like the jewel pieces of the hair , but the hair style is not good at all . The Valentino dress is elegant ,but the lipstick is not.

  10. Not her best look. The dress is too heavy and doesn't fit well, and her hair...ugh! Her hair has never been her best feature. She needs a complete hair makeover.
