Princess Mary and her children watched 2017 Hubertus Jagt

On November 5, 2017, Sunday, in the morning, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark and her children, that is, Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine watched traditional 2017 Hubertus Hunt (Hubertus Jagt) from the balcony of Hermitage Palace, held at Dyrehaven hunting field of Klampenborg city of Denmark. (After the hunt ended, when contestants got into the square of Hermitage Palace, an accident occured and Princess Mary and her children witnessed that saddening accident. Frederik could not attend that event, he was at IOC meeting in Switzerland).

    1. Karen was called Tanne... How does it remind you of her?

    2. Anja, it's just the pictures with the carriages and the horses in winter. It reminds me of the beginning of the "Out of Africa"-movie with Meryll Streep thirty (?? or more?) years ago because it also started with a hunt in winter, although there was snow. I love Tania Blixens book on her life in Africa. But the movie has not much to do with the book.

    3. As an author, Karen Blixen used the pseudonym 'Isak Dinesen' and that in all her book publications in English. Called 'Tanne' only by family and friends. A little weird comparison with Mary and the kids on the pics actually………

    4. Mille C, it was a spontaneus association in my head - Denmark, winter, horses and hunters and amidst a strong lady - that I wrote down.
      That's all.
Feel free to call it weird if that makes you happy or eases your everyday life or whatever
And, as Elin says, the authors name printed on the book-cover is "Tania". "Tanne" in German is a fir tree.

    2. No,Tania is just not right-even in German speaking countries.
Tanne and Tania are two different names.
Karen Blixen was called Tanne by family and friends.
I see nothing of out of africa in these pictures, but nothing wrong in that if Coralie does it.
