  1. No, no and NO! Maxima! This unkempt hair is not tolerable anymore! I am a fan of Maxima's style, but she should know that any 'ordinary' woman cannot appear at work like this, may she work in a bakery shop, an office, a bank or a hospital. We 'ordinary' women also have children, we also have many duties, but we get up 30 minutes earlier to get ourselves done. This starts to annoy me! She is one of the richest women in Europe. If she does not know how to do it herself, she can have a hairstylist come in in the morning, when she has appointments. I am quite sure Letizia does it, because her hair is always perfectly done. It does not alwas have to be a gala hairstyle. But at least it should be washed and kempt. This looks neglected and shows no respect for the people she meets. I always thought she is a nice person, people seem to love her, I like her shining personality and her extroverted style but this is too much! Life has some basic rules! I won't comment on Maxima anymore.

P.S. I comment less and less on this side. I don't comment on Stéphanie anymore or on Mette, no fashion no style, no comment, now even Maxima. I am sorry.

    1. I agree with you, Beth.
I have come to believe she likes her hair like this whereas the rest of us would be ashamed to go out of the house looking like this. It's incomprehensible.

    2. @ Beth you pointed out my sentiments exactly. And in so well set words. Thank you

    3. Your life must be hard if you are so vulnerable for Maxima’s hairstyle. You seem to be an intelligent woman so you know that a couple of pictures aren’t always flattering. In real life it really isn’t that bad. I’ve seen her about 5 times and she blows you away with warmth and positive energy. The Dutch love her in every aspect despite a bad hair day. Be strong Beth, focus on the fashion and not on the hair 😘

    4. Focus on her smile and attentive assertion to what she really is all about. We all have bad hair days. I just love her gregarious nature. lol

  2. Maxima, comb your hair. I agree with Beth. Maxima is very wealthy and, even if she was not, the poorest struggling person can comb their hair. It is getting old.

  3. Her hair, when "natural" is always a disaster. Just because she is South American and has a persona does not mean she should meet people without her hair at least washed.

    1. I am curious, what does being from South America has to do with wearing one's hair badly styled?
Are you implying that non Europeans have implicitly bad hair, and they are generally tolerated?
Also what do you mean that she has a "persona"? Just wondering...
I fully agree that her hair looks awful, independently of where she was born.

  4. Everyone has said it many, many, too many times, her disgusting hair is an insult to her hosts.

  5. ATL I'm from Argentina and feel offended by your comment about Southamerican people.

  6. Many of you criticize Victoria´s buns and ponytails, just think how much improvement it would be if Maxima would wear her hair tied up when having these less formal work days.

I think her hair is washed but she wears wrong kind fixing products; mousse/setting spray/hairspray, and that makes her hair look so miserable.

  7. Maxima seems like a wonderful person but her hair...OMG.
Her hair look so frazzled, and when "natural" [read: without hair extensions] very thin and straw-like. She's in tire need of a hair repair journey~! I still have high hopes that its just a phase she's going through.

  8. I guess it is useless complaining to Maxima about her hair..she will do just that...so I will say..Yes Maxima...grow your hair like a bush and don't ever start combing your hair hahahaha..

  9. I think the criticism here is justified.

  10. I think she wants it to look unkept. I think she feels more down to earth or something. There were a few years ago a fashion that the hair should look a bit messy and I think she is aiming towards that but it gets too messy and not good looking.

  11. She either looks great or awful. There's no in between for Maxima.
