  2. I can't figure out what is happening at the waist. Is it a top tucked into a skirt?
The necklace is too big and long. It's odd to have it hang below her waist, and she's tall.

    1. Good question, what is happening at the waist? But apart from that I like the look and the color, classic and elegant, and at least the skirt is long enough, which always looks so much better. The necklace is....uhmmm, interesting??

  3. I am transfixed by the works of Marthe Wery!! Squares of coloured paper scattered over the floor.... Google her work and you will find much more of the same. How do people like that become admired artists?

    1. I love the visual impact of much of "modern" art. And most of the pieces shown here are stunning.
But I also find the papers on the floor to be a bit too much. It crosses a line for me. And I don't think this is an ideal way to get kids interested in art - they did cutting and pasting in kindergarten!
