  3. A very stark look, although the shoes and bag are nice. Plain black like that, with the severe hairstyle, looks very somber.

    1. I think the dress gives her a lovely silhouette. It just needs a good necklace or brooch.

  4. It's very basic indeed but yet it's so much better than the blergh dress she wore at the lunch.

  5. She looks like she's going to or coming from a funeral. And she looks 50 years old.

    1. It was the funeral day of Princess Benedicte´s husband, Silvia and Madeline were there at the funeral. That is probably why Victoria wears this black dress, to commemorate Richard.

  6. You can't go wrong with a perfect black dress, love the length and the fit around the hips. I absolutely adore the shoes, fantastic complement, and I want a pair for me.

  7. She dresses as a much older woman.

  8. Maybe she wanted to be with her family at the funeral of Prince Richard - at least in spirit, if not physically possible because of other Engagements - and it might have been seen as some kind of disrespect if she had worn something gay and colourful on this day...

  9. I love a classic look, but this is almost too pure. But I think the photos don't do justice to the suit, it looks probably better, when she moves. I want the shoes and the handbag, nice too see something different to the usual pillboxes.

  10. Make it knee-length and I´m on board.
I, too, believe she chose black as a tribute to Richard.

  11. Is she 50 or 60 years old??

  12. She looks like a woman in her 50s, and let me tell you that I know women who are 50+, 60+ and look more youthful!
Plain black dress and severe hairdo. Why not pin lovely brooch on her dress or wear different necklace to bring some zing to her appearance? Now she looks so colorless and uninpressive, like some kind of maid. The flowers helped a little but not much. Another dissapointing look!
