  2. I don't even like to write this because I am a huge admirer and supporter of Queen Maxima.
She is extraordinary as she carries out her royal duties, her special duties and expertise in the area of global finance, her warmth, energy and on and on. But, as Queen, she needs to have a hairdresser on-call to quickly do her hair prior to official appearances. She always carries herself so well and has a well-defined personal dress sense. Now just some attention to the hair and the picture will be complete.

  3. I guess that's what would be called a 'bad hair day'.

  4. Maxima is gorgeous, even when she doesn't have a stylist, make up artist, hairdresser and team of keepers following her about. It was a windy day! I think what is important is her face, smile and love of the people and charities she attends to, not a windy day.

    1. Oh, dear, you are right generally speaking, but this is a FASHION blog. I'm her hugest fan, believe me, and I think Máxima's high work ethic and radiating, warm personality is under no attack by suggesting she could do, well, something with her hair. Even on a windy day. I'm sure she has the means to check the weather in 5-6 seconds through any weather app. I'm far from being royalty, let alone queen but I do it every morning.
I'm very happy though to read that others too keep in mind that she is the most fabulous queen alive and it's without a permanently employed stylist :)

  5. She should have worn one of her extravagant hats to cover her awful hair.

  6. Her hair needs badly to have rest from bleeching, hair sprays, styling cemicals, beehiving, curling and what so ever. Her hair just does not stand all that anymore. But I of course well understand it is not possible.

    Outfit and jewels are nice.

  7. You're right, wearing a hat sounded good, but an hour later when I was driving and let my mind wander, it occurred to me that the hat could pop off in the wind and fly into the water. Who knows? She surely was having an adventure, I love that she's so athletic. She is a wonderful Queen, they are lucky to have her joy amidst their countrymen and women.

  8. She just loves to wear her hair without pins and things. But I totally agree that this hairdo needs a comb.
