  1. Except for Maria Teresa and Stephanie, I don't know who the other women are, which is which, but their gowns!!!! Stephanie's is the worst, followed by M-T and the one with the pleats and no shoulders, I think that's Alexandra. Money certainly doesn't make for good taste.

    1. I just love Maria Teresa´s dress. It looks as Ekie Saab one.

    2. I wonder... if you don't know who they are...what are you doing here???

    3. The other women are: The young lady in the strapless gown is Princess Alexandra. She is the daughter of Grand Duchess Maria Teresa and Grand Duke Henri. She is their only daughter. MT and Henri have four sons, Guillaume who is married to Stephanie (which you said you know her). Their next son is Felix he is married to Claire. Claire is the one wearing the pale pink evening gown with the beaded bodice. The next son is Louis. Louis is married to Tessy. Tessy is the one wearing the teal gown. Then there is Sebastian. He is the last son and he is single. In the picture of Stephanie and her husband Guillaume and Alexandra wearing the strapless gown (sister of Guillaume) the young man standing next to Alexandra is the youngest brother Sebastian.

    4. Okay my two cents worth -- I love Claire's and Alexandra's dresses. MT's dress is beautiful on her. I love a shawl with an evening gown! Tessy's dress I am not overly fond of, but it is okay. And then there is poor Stephanie. I am just speechless regarding her choice. However, we all know that Stephanie's dress sense leaves a lot to be desired. I guess it is just her style and just maybe she doesn't care a hoot about clothes and how they look on her. Some women are that way. I never was! I was a clothes horse in my younger years when I worked in an office, etc. I am not so much anymore, but I still do love fashion, which is why I visit sites like this one. I love royals and I adore fashion! Stephanie obviously does not.

    5. Wow Maria Edite Filipe that is a bit harsh don't ya the?

Not everyone follows or knows everything single person in all the houses. I don't. Do you? How about you give us all the names of every person in all the houses. This family is not as high profile as to the minor players and even the major players....so it makes sense that some people might not know everyone.

Be kind .... and we will be waiting for your run down on all of them . Good luck with the German royal houses as they are a very complicated group. No cheating dear

      LOL 😂😃😄😆

    6. @Maria Edite Filipe, why not to explain nice way as Karen AR did.
You are absolutely far from polite person!

  3. I wonder how it was decided which lady would wear which tiara ! Has Princess Alexandra lost weight ?

    1. I think they stick to the seniority as do all other royal houses. That way it is very easy, you know who you are, where you stand, and you wait your turn and no hurt feelings. :-)

  4. I am actually starting to feel bad for Princess Stephanie. I wonder if she really has a medical issue because her body just looks odd. I do not say this to be rude. Even her waist band would not stay straight. I bet her bones don't line up very symmetrically (no one is perfect, but most of us can wear a belt without it moving to such a degree that it appears to be cinching the waist at an angle). As for her arms, she needs sleeves to help make her appear thinner. Something tells that me that this is the best posture that she can possibly have (it is not a situation wherein she is lazy and/or has poor comportment). It has been said a million times: Princess Stephanie needs a much better stylist. The potential is there.

Princess Alexandra looks like she lost weight. Princess Tessy just looks like a fun and down to earth person to meet. Princess Claire seems okay. I think her style is quite odd, but to each his own.

  5. I have no words. I mean do they have mirrors in Luxembourg? Only Maria Theresa looks good. The rest? This royal house needs help.

Stephanie just blows my mind. Even if you don't care about fashion in her role she should pull it together a little bit. As to a health problem with weight...fertility issues? Ok but even women who are overweight or a pear or apple shape can find clothes to make them look good. Her clothes are bland, misshapen, cheap looking at times. Her shoes are prison matron shoes usually. I just down get it. Again it's not an attack on her character.... I just don't understand the lack of any personality. There is no youth no joy.

    1. Diane, I think the gowns of Tessy, Claire and Alexandra are ok. Not wow, but just ok. As for Stephanie, Marci seems to be right. She is standing in a kind of twisted way, like her back is hurting badly.
I agree 100 % with your final sentences. She comes across like an old-maidish Victorian governess. Perhaps she is very shy, but shyness can be overcome with professional help. Sometimes I think she doesn't like her role/position at all (her unfortunate outfits and her overweight might be a silent protest). But then, she shouldn't have married Guillaume or should have persuaded him to give up his succession rights so that they could enjoy a calm and private life together.

    2. Agree Romana

She seems to be hiding more and more. I would expect the royal life while full of some great perks us also strangling at times. But frankly the Ducal House is in a very small country and I would think the duties are not difficult and jam packed as they are in Britain, Spain, Sweden etc. Of course leaving in a fishbowl that small means tongues wag much more. Maybe the pressure of that bothers her. She seems to be a shrinking violet as time goes by. Maybe she is having the same anxiety that the CP of Japan has gone through? Same pressures to have a heir? Unable to work a job she may like? Only they know but it is little worrisone as she is becoming someone in the background. Has anyone else noticed how much Tessy is more and more front and center? Doing much more work? She has the personality for it ! Maybe Stephanie feels awkward? And Claire is very stylish and youthful as well. They both have children. Hmmmmm... me thinks maybe there is some drama behind the palace walls?

    3. Diane, there might be more than a grain of truth in what you are supposing. Remember last year's summer photo shooting of the family in France. Guillaume and Stephanie were the only ones missing while everybody else was there gathering around the retired Grand Duke Jean (it could easily have been his last holidays given his advanced age). I don't think that Stephanie is very close to her sisters-in-law. Neither Tessy nor Claire are actually rivals to her, Louis gave up his succession rights and Felix and Claire are living on their vineyard in France most of the year. But Stephanie might nevertheless be jealous since both, Tessy and Claire, are prettier, more charming and have kids.

    4. This may be some of the trouble there Romana. I do remember that they were not there last Summer. It's so strange because when Stephanie was getting married to Guillaume she seemed more outgoing. Or maybe I just thought so. If they are having fertility issues I feel for them as that is so difficult and the pressure on them is huge. More and more I think they are not as suited for the job. Or maybe the others can be more themselves and thus appear happier because they do not have the stress. Other way I think there is strain in the family.

  6. Stephanies dress????????!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. If nothing else the family is colour coordinated.

Grand Duchess Maria Teresa is as usual beautifully dressed and accessorised.

Stephanie's gown isn't my cup of tea, however what potential it had was let down by poorly chosen accessories. To say that Stephanie is not attractive is cruel in my opinion, one only need glace back to her wedding photos to see how pretty she is. She is no more or less attractive than her sisters-in-law.

The standout of the evening for me is Tessy, her gown is very pretty. It didn't grab me at first, but the skirt on the gown is beautiful. Claire's gown is very ho-hum and I do not like the bodice on Alexandra's gown at all, although the colour is gorgeous and she looks lovely.
