King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, Prince Sverre Magnus, Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway celebrate Norway National Day on May 17, 2016 in Asker, Norway. (Norway's Constitution, declaring the country to be an independent nation, was signed at Eidsvoll on 17 May, 1814. Despite independence not being fully achieved until 1905, this date remains Norway's National Day, and is a national holiday.)

  1. Ingrid Alexandra always looks a little grumpy. For me it seems as she doesn't like her role.

    1. Isn't it strange what some you read out of pics taken in a split second? She looks like a normal young girl.

    2. Looks like she is festive and honoring her obligation with the rest of the family. Look at CP Victoria at her age or at the Princess of Orange. The sound of cameras are deafening at these official events. Developing ease with photographers is a skill learned for sure!

  2. It must be horrible growing up in front of the world, even worse these days with mobile phones all having cameras now.

    I think all the Royal children seems to cope very, very well, and if they aren't at any particular time I couldn't and wouldn't ever blame them.

    I used to think Isabella of Denmark was gorgeous. I loved the ways she would poke her tongue out during photo calls. As a little one she had spirit!
