King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain attend the opening of the 7th International Congress of the Spanish Language in Puerto Rico on 15 March 2016. The Conference include a varied program consisting of cultural activities, exhibitions, a festival of Latin American documentaries, writing contests about Spanish language, and meetings between writers and students.

  1. Another sartorial success for Letizia. Time and time again she proves that you do not always have to wear whatever is the latest trend, in order to look sensational. A classic, timeless tailored suit can do the job to perfection too. And how perfect is this suit! – it’s a delight to view the princess seaming and the seams on the collar, the made-to-order fit, every detail flawless.
    I wonder if Letizia's background in media gives her an appreciation of how clothing reinforces a person’s communication? If asked, what does this outfit communicate? I would answer:
    >Letizia's updo plus the conservative, ensemble styling, and low sleeve and hem length say "stateswoman/important occasion"
    >the light, quiet colour palette says "visible but unpretentious"
    > the soft pink says "not pushy, gentle, approachable".
    What do others think?
    Given that all royals have such a range of outfits to choose from, it would be fascinating to know whether Letizia’s outfit has been selected for her Puerto Rican visit with these particular “messages” in mind, or whether it’s a more unrelated process. ..

  4. Là, je ne comprends rien. Où est la manipulation et le manque de spontanéité dans le choix d'un tailleur élégant déjà utilisé dans d'autres voyages? Ceci est le type habituel de vêtements qui porte Letizia.
    La seule malipulacion que je vois est la malice des haters. C'est fou.
    Letizia c'est parfaite, souriant, sobre et chic, comme d'habitude. C'est toujours un plaisir de voir ce couple ensemble. Ils sont magnifiques.
