The British press is discussing: Kate Middleton having grey hair?

OH KATE MIDDLETON, ARE YOU REALLY SHOWING GREY ROOTS AT 33
The front page of The Daily Mail on February 19th, 2015.

A tabloid newpaper in the UK has taken aim at Kate Middleton for the most superficial reason, after the Duchess of Cambridge was photographed with some grey hair showing. The Daily Mail's headline read, "OH KATE, ARE YOU REALLY SHOWING GREY ROOTS AT 33?", and it's sent the world into a fit of outrage.

Kate Middleton has grey hair?! OH MY GOSH

     Is this really newsworthy?

"With just two months to go until she gives birth to her second child, the Duchess of Cambridge has reportedly given up many of her beauty treatments in a bid to avoid harming her baby"
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (Catherine Elizabeth "Kate"; née Middleton; born 9 January 1982),
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge appears to be playing it safe and is leaving her glossy chestnut locks to go natural until after the birth.

  1. So why do you bother to reprint it?

  2. That's all they can discuss because she's never done anything worth talking about. Even the speech she gave a week ago was written by someone else and she was reading the autocue.

  3. Is THAT really an issue to discuss ???
Doesn't everyone get grey hair ?! Some of us earlier, some later and sometimes it can happens just while one is pregnant ! No big deal !
Come on and bring us som real news instead !

    2. I was actually born with some grey strands. It's really not that unusual. Now having said that, she is paying that fancy hair stylist a pretty penny to keep her looking like perfection for official engagements. While she may not want to dye her hair while pregnant there are other solutions to covering the roots such as the non-toxic brush-on powder dyes that are available. Not only do they do the trick of hiding the grey they don’t rub off or run if you perspire, and, they wash right out with the next shampoo. Surely the hair stylist must know about them? But yes, this is a trivial thing for the tabloids to report on.

  4. Most people who pay even a little attention to the DoC knows she has grey hair. This really is not new information.

I think she looks better with her hair back or up, so I hope this kind of attention to her hair, does not influence her to wear it down all the time to hide the grey regrowth. Her hair looks more tidy back or up.

  6. She's pregnant, she won't be dying her hair, and some women that age have some grey hairs*.
    What's the big deal, tabloids?

*My sister is slightly older than Kate but has the same hair colour, and she's had some grey hairs for ages. It happens!

  7. The press make out she's the second coming and that she's better than everyone else. When she shows up looking less than perfect, they're going to make a story out of it.

  8. Forget the grey hair. What about the deep lines in her forehead and the sagging cheeks and jowls? She looks way to old for someone who doesn't have a real job.

  9. She's a closet smoker. If she looks this old on the outside, imagine how sooty and rotten her internal organs are. She is not the picture of health and not a good role model.

  10. Seems like most of the public is already tired of Barbie Doll Cambridge, she only has one expression and only says a few phrases, nothing more to offer.
