On Monday, July 18, King Carl Gustaf of Sweden presented the 2022 Solliden Prize to the archaeologist and researcher Jan-Henrik Fallgren in a ceremony held at Solliden Palace on Öland. The King was accompanied by Queen Silvia and Crown Princess Victoria, who were dressed in traditional Öland folk costumes for the ceremony. Jan-Henrik Fallgren received the award for the archaeological works that he carried out on Öland.

    Always nice to be at Solliden .Nice turn out of the Royals for the Award ceremony. Wonder if the National dress is very hot especially, the cape Q Silvia is wearing. josebabe
