King Willem - Alexander and Queen Maxima, Princess Laurentien and Prince Constantijn of The Netherlands attend the opening of the Prince's Day 2016 (Prinsjesdag) at the Binnenhof in The Hague on September 20, 2016. Prince's Day (Prinsjesdag ) is the day on which the reigning monarch of the Netherlands addresses a joint session of the Dutch Senate and House of Representatives in the Ridderzaal or Hall of Knights in The Hague.

    1. Laurentien is very much her own person by all reports. I quite like her quirky sense of style. I think she and her husband are a great support for the King and Queen. Of course no one can outdo Maxima for sheer WOW!!!

  3. What a jewels Max has there. That brooch in belt is fabulous. This Prince´s Day is bit weird with dress code; long gown and order with hat, but these ladies managed well enough.

  7. Don't love Maxima's hat, and not crazy about the dress either the skirt seems a little chunky, but thumbs up for the jewelry! Princess Laurentien outfit makes her look like a nun or a nanny.

  9. Queen Maxima looks so regal. Love her hairdo that is just right with that big hat. Wonderful blue and golden colors of her dress. That big brooch. Good body posture. Stunning.
