Princess Charlene in South Africa for Gugulesizwe Primary School

Princess Charlene adopts a Daveyton school. Princess Charlene of Monaco, has launched her Princess Charlene Foundation at the no-fee Gugulesizwe Primary School in Daveyton. The Princess, who grew up close to the school, says she believes education is vital to empowering the youth.

The Princess Charlene Foundation, which spans five continents, aims to assist those in need. gulesizwe Primary School is a public primary school. In 2014 there were 562 registered learners, including 54 Grade R learners.
