On May 24, 2020, Prince Albert, Pierre Casiraghi and his wife Beatrice Borromeo attended the shooting of Claude Lelouch's short film "The Big Meeting" (Le Grand Rendez Vous) at dawn in Monaco. The short film is a remake of the director's 1976 cult film, which depicts a high speed drive through Paris, called "It Was a Date" (C'était un Rendez-vous). In 2020, Lelouch shoots a remake of the film this time in Monaco instead of Paris.

  1. This visit was not necessary, they are a bad example for social distancing.

And waisting FFP2 or 3-masks on this unnecessary visit is disgusting.

They ar for medical staff and careworkers. They are not thought to be worn by private people.

Granted this is not social distancing at its finest, but wearing masks is so important. Albert was infected, so he does understand the importance of wearing one and is setting a good example. Most of the world is wearing face coverings. As the world slowly comes out of quarantine, it is more important than ever to take precautions. Public figures should be setting the example. I have the utmost respect for him and all the other royals who are seen publically in masks. Albert's mask cannot be called a FFP2 or 3 mask. It may have some filtering properties, but it does not create a seal. I can't speak about Pierre and Beatrice's masks because I have never seen masks like these before.

    2. of course masks are very important. But for public, community masks, like Albert is wearing one, is very important and enough.

FFP2/3 should only be used by medical stuff, careworkers & co.
In many countries there are still not enough FFP2/3 masks for all Doctors offices, hospitals and places, where they are really important.

And they waisting them for such an event. This is disgusting in my eyes.
(yes, it are FFPs, I'm a nurse, I see that)

I absolutely agree with you about the general public wearing FFP (N-95) masks. There is no need at all.

    4. and by the way.. saw pics from Pierre from the side:
with such a beard FFP2/3 masks don't close properly so that they don't work properly.
Beside he shouldn't wear such a mask at all, he also wears it false. Beards have to be cut in shape smaller than the edge of FFP2/3's

    Bien sympathiques ces photos. J'aime beaucoup la sixième où nous voyons le prince Albert respecter "le jouer du coude" hi, hi -pour saluer un coureur automobile ;
    il s'agit peut-être de Charles Leclerc ?!

  3. It is strange that they would attend this event, considering the current circumstances.

May a recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic be advanced further in Monaco.

It's a sign that life is returning to some type of normality in Monaco.

They do seem to have Covid 19 under some control and tracking, tracing and masks are available to all - the advantage of the small territory.

I like the red Ferrari. Good to see Prince Albert. I suppose Pierre and Beatrice had nothing to do. Their jackets look too small and ill fitting;not much social distancing going on there.

Pierre was waiting for a ride in Ferrari, his brother-in-law is the CEO of Ferrari.
