Monaco Prince Family attended the 1st Grimaldi Culture Meeting

Prince Albert of Monaco, Princess Charlene of Monaco and their children Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella attended the first meeting of "Rencontre des sites historiques Grimaldi" (Grimaldi Historic Sites of Monaco). In the afternoon, Princess Caroline and Beatrice Borromeo also attended that event. In the evening, there was a reception held in honour of that day at the Principality Palace. The 1st day ended with a "sound and light" show reflected onto the facades of the Principality Palace, which was dedicated to the Grimaldi dynasty. The event continues today.

  1. How cool is little Jacques with those shades? Adorable!

  2. Oh Charlene. She's a statuesque beauty, I really wish she would stop messing with her face. There comes a point when you can over do it with plastic surgery.

    1. Exactly what I wrote a little while ago what a pity to spoil that natural beauty

    2. I think her natural beauty wanted no tweaking, merely appropriately applied makeup, and a killer hair style.

  3. Love the national costumes on Albert and the children. Charlene's evening dress looks great and is typical of her style. I thought I recognized her striped dress as a repeat - which is shocking really since she practically never repeats for official functions. Caroline's red print dress is intriguing, wish we could see more of it.

I cannot understand why we should be chocked about a repeat of wearing a dress, provided it is suitable for the occasion. This is rather informal event anyway.

What really surprises is the difference in appearance between the pics shere she is wearing the stripped dress and those with the black dress. She apparently likes to play around with make up, not always to the best.

Prince Jacques and Pss Gabriella look wonderful in their National Costumes for their secondary Titles. And their willingness to represent, they are getting a great start of what it means to be a Prince and Pss. of Monaco. Pss Charlenes dresses are very nice, the black one more so the the stripped one.

The little Prince and Princess are super cute. Gabriella is modeling her costume and Jacques is sitting in a vehicle holding the steering wheel. Practice young and be perfect later.

  6. Beautiful family. Those children are growing so fast. I love the black gown the Princess is wearing, it looks so comfortable and yet very classy. Albert looks happy with the children and his wife.

  7. The striped dress looks better with the flatter heels. I also love her hair in the photos with this day dress. The black gown suits her very well and the expression on her face in these photos is beautiful. Classy lady.

  8. Lovely pictures of the family - seems to have been a great, action-packed day.

I like the little costumes, this appearance of the stripy dress is much better without the sideways Baker boy hat and her black evening dress is lovely.

I like Caroline's dress too- it's by MiuMiu and she wore it last year to the Flower Show.

Stripes done well by Charlene. The little ones are adorable. 7:41 unless you know when she last 'messed with her face' and what she plans in the future, there is no need to be unkind. She is a lovely woman who is managing duties and family like many others do every day.

    1. I'm not being unkind just stating my opinion. What does her plans for the future have to do with anything? I never said she wasn't a lovely woman and mother.
But I do think she's going overboard with plastic surgery.
Honestly that's the problem with some people on this site, you can't say your opinion without someone getting upset with you about it and saying you're being rude or mean.

She chose simple styles for a warm day. Not mentioned at all.

  13. Charlene looks elegantly, yet casually dressed in the striped frock and she looks stunning in the black gown.

  15. Adorable! National costumes on display, always a favorite with me. Here is a lovely little video from Monaco summerizing the festivities : http://www.nicematin.com/vie-locale/video-revivez-la-1re-rencontre-des-sites-historiques-grimaldi-240583
Wish they showed Prince Jacque giving flowers to his little sister. Any video of that gallant encounter out there?
