  2. Beautiful dress in traditional style. If only the women in her country would follow their queen and stop covering up their hair.

Rania is fortunate to be surrounded by a husband and other men in her immediate family who support her choice to not cover her head if she chooses. Sadly many of the women in her country are not as fortunate, and in fact a large number of the women actually prefer to cover up.
      Yes, she is very beautiful.

Would you say that about Orthodox Jewish women, nuns, eastern European women, and African women, many of whom cover their hair? It’s a offensive and ignorant to think these women are being forced to cover their hair. Most of them do it because they believe it is modest and that God requires it of them. And for them, they find it normal and in many cases, liberating to wear the hijab. In a place like Jordan, it is their choice to cover or not and in the end, isn’t that what freedom is about?

    4. No, Anonymous April 26 at 5:33, it is not offensive and ignorant. Would you say that to Masih Alinejad, 41 years old, born in Iran, living in New York now? She started "My stealthy freedom". And she could say a lot about being forced and not having equal rights. There may be women who cover deliberately, but a lot of others do not. Shaparak and about 40 women in Iran have been arrested because they refused to cover. Probably these women find that YOU are ignorant?

  4. I love when Queen Rania wears traditional Arab clothing. I wish she would wear the head covering, hijab, a bit more when she wears traditional clothing, because it is the perfect finishing touch to any traditional Arab dress.
