    2. Exactly what I thought. However I feel something could be wrong with their relationship since Marie Chantal was so quick to jump in with her comments

    3. I did not believe that Easter video was what it was, but these pictures show it was true. iron bar in my garden is softer than Letizia here pretending to be so nice and friendly.

    4. I'm not sure, who's the bad one in this story.. maybe, no one is :-) it is not sooo unusal to have an argument with somebody from time to time, also when you are usally friends. Things like this happen.

    3. I don't understand what Marie-Chantal was thinking to post public comments. Videos can be misinterpreted and even if not, in her (Marie-Chantal's) position, she should not have publicly posted such criticism directed toward another European royal. Privately she can say what she wants.

    4. Agree with you Beverly24. People have to be very careful with what they say on social media. It has made Marie Chantal look bad. The institution of the monarchy in Spain is more important than the relationship between the current and former queen. By the way, glad to see Letizia finally wearing sensible shoes.

    5. Of course, Marie-Chantal was wrong (she looks daft now !).
Leonor removed Sophia's hand from her shoulder - not Letizia ! Watch the video in slow motion...

    8. For my opinion Marie-Chantal just wanted to get into conversation. So far I have only seen embarrassing actions by the formal Greek royals - especially by Marie-Chantal and her daughter Maria-Olympia.

    9. Marie-Chantal appeared very petty to post her comments and then photograph. It really irks me that she refers to herself as Royalty. Greece does not have a royal family.

    11. No one gets along 100% of the time and I can't imagine living in a fish bowl. There was no sound and no one knows exactly what happened. Even if there was something, it's their business. I looked at the video again and at one point it's obvious that Princess Leonor moved her grandmother's hand so who knows what led up to this. Sad they feel they need to do things for the camera now and sad that Marie-Chantal had to insert herself. Definitely wasn't her business either. She gets upset when her immediate family are painted in an unflattering light, but they're usually responsible.

How convenient that there's chummy photo-op so soon after the apparent dust-off. And once again it's all about Letizia. I can't stand her (but there are lots of royals and others whom I do like, so there!).

    1. Does Letizia write these articles? I can't stand her means nothing. Give us a reason that relies on first hand knowledge instead of gossip that other people have written.

    2. It is obvious that you can't stand her, crystal clear, therefore your derogatory comments are just that.
So, is this a blog to opine about fashion, and sometimes current events, or is it a forum for you to vent your hatred? Just asking for a friend. Maybe there are better venues.

    3. Finally some voices of reason : thank you MarigoldB and Cherry Blossom.
I'm here for the fashion, not malicious gossip and mud-slinging. (Actually, I can't decide if it's funny, sad or just plain weird that people feel free to "hate" someone they they don't know.)
I don't like or dislike Letizia but I mostly love her clothes!

  5. Marie-Chantal should learn: real royals are discreet and don't comment anything on fb, they find other ways to get attention- eg: pushing your mother-in-law away 😆 Btw this overwhelming love towards each other is very untrue to me. At least they try, maybe beacuse of King Felipe, and from this point this is a nice gesture.

  6. What I will remember from the Easter incident is that the royals can turn on their camera face in an instant. Although there was a heated exchange between Letizia and Sofia, they both flashed wide smiles at the camera right afterwards. To me today's performance is part of their public persona. That's fine, royal watchers prefer it that way.

  7. Ce sont deux femmes intelligentes et elles sont capables de surmonter leurs problèmes de façon civilisée et c'est tant mieux. Ne jetons pas d'huile sur le feu, tout le monde peut avoir des moments d'impatience, les reines aussi.

  8. OKaaay, we get the messsge. Queen and ex-Queen are cozy friends. Hmm.
I do like Letizia's coat. Elegant and the short style works well with pants.

  9. I have absolutely different view on the royal house as a whole. The ability to smile all the while the tension. I don't know about the other royal house but I find that scary.

  10. Royals or not, these people are human. I didn't read anything more into the incident on Easter morning than two adults having a minor disagreement that unfortunately happened in public. It did not mean that they hate each other or don't get along. To me the real embarrassment is Marie Chantel making catty comments on Instagram.

  11. I think Marie-Chantal may have a bit of the "green eyed monster" considering she will never be Queen nor should be referred to as "Princess" or "Crown Princess of Greece". Greece has no monarchy - but happy families or not they are puttingon a united front which is a good thing - but back to the issue in hand Letizia like her or not always looks lovely and knows how to dress for the occasion - she looks casual but chic in this outfit.

    1. Not exatcly true. Marie-Chantal, Crown Princess of Greece (Marie-Chantal Claire; née Miller; born 17 September 1968) is the wife of Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece, son of the deposed King Constantine II of Greece.
She is crowb princess. And just cause she is not going yo be queen, it doesnt make a arguments invalid.

    2. Totally agree with Cally Vithalis. M.Chantal goes green with envy. That is the truth of the matter.

    3. Raquel, nobody can be a "princess" where there is no crown. The people of Greek decided that they want no monarchy any longer. No monarchy, no crown, no princes and princesses.

      Delete
    4. tu can. They mantain theyre royal titles. Decision of the greek. Portugal has no crown bit still has aristocracy. Áustria, hungary germany... They all have aristicracy/royalty whithout monarchy. Ignorante comment on your part. even if true. That doesnt make Marie Chantal wrong about Letizia! Of Marie Chantal was just jelous why not talk about the other monarchies? Nope. Just Letizia, aboit something that actually happen.

    5. Her comment is not at all "ignorant", but absolutely true. Besides, envy arose from the proximity. M Chantal should take Letizia as an example of how educate their children and and have the humility to understand that she could be wrong.

    6. Her comment is ignorant since it's false. Im not saying that marrie chantal can't learn to be humble. Im saying Letizia isnt either. Im not actually a fan of marie chantal or any of the greek royals in fact. But to excuse Letizia with 'marie chantal is just jealous' its a bit pathetic. Marie chantal was many flaws but she is right on this one.

  15. Are trench coats "in" this year? I know they are practical but, since Meghan and Letizia have recently worn them, I'm wondering if this spring is all about trench coats.

  16. Perfecto.

    1. I like the trench but the flat shoes, while appropriate for the outfit, will never be elegant. I agree with Maureen & others who like to have our royals appear united, even though we accept that in the real world, there will inevitably be tensions & squabbles as in any family
