  1. Se ve super bien. Con ese tipo de sombrero le da mucha elegancia a un traje sencillo como el que lleva la reina Maxima hoy

    1. Simple? Really? In my book, velvet in broad daylight, big diamond brooch, big diamond earrings, and all the above together with the headdress, is not exactly a simple outfit. No one else around her dress in this way. She looks fabulous because she is fabulous, but to me, the outfit is inappropriate.

    2. She doesn' look fabulous; her hair looks poorly cared for and she's overdressed and overjewelled for a visit to an horticultural center. Almost as inadequately as the day on which she wore emeralds and a gigantic hat for a food market.

  3. Love the colour and is this tweed and velvet? Love this combination. I like also the pillbox, because Queen Max can get away with it. She looks good.

  5. Maxima dresses the way she dresses. I think this is actually understated for her. I like the colours and textures.

  6. We all know she isn’t the “play it safe and don’t stand out” type. She is who she is - and there’s nothing that is inappropriate in her outfit today; perhaps the earrings are loud by some so-called standards, but I have colleagues at work (in a very traditional corporate environment) that wear brooches and scarfs and big shinny jewellery. May not be everyone’s taste, but I prefer it to the predictable ‘by the book ‘ style of Kate or Mary.

  7. As Maxima´s royal small duty dressing this is rather simply. She looks very good.
