Queen Mathilde visited the Kazerne Dossin Museum

On March 27, 2018, Queen Mathilde of Belgium and Holocaust survivor Simon Gronowski visited the Kazerne Dossin Memorial Museum and Documentation Centre on the Holocaust and Human Rights, in Mechelen, Belgium. Simon Gronowski was born in Brussels, and survived the Holocaust by escaping deportation in Convoy No. 20 train, on 19 April 1943, which would have taken him to Auschwitz.

  1. The dress on the model is the most attractive Natan-dress I´ve ever seen.
Mathilde´s version is rather boring. I wonder if it is a completely different cut and design, because I cannot see much similarity apart from the fabric.
I guess she wanted something more demure and less summery/youthful/happy for the occasion, so I hope it´s a different dress rather than alterations on a (rare) successful design by Natan.

  2. why always a dress, where is a jacket? Or a deux pieces, or and jacket with pants, or a coat, always those dresses from Natan.
i like our Quin very much.

  3. I think your paragraph at the top might be unclear as to the gentleman in the photos, Mr. Granowski, who is visiting the Kazerne Dossin Museum with the queen.
Queen Mathilde looks very nice in this dress mostly because of the fabric and not any special tailoring in the design. She doesn't seem to like wearing anything very elaborate.
