Crown Princess Victoria's Name Day Celebrations 2018

On March 12, 2018, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden's Name Day 2018 was celebrated at the courtyard of the Royal Palace in Stockholm. Prince Daniel and Princess Estelle attended Princess Victoria's Name Day celebrations. The celebrations began with a tribute concert by the Life Guards' Dragoon Music Corps, who performed the Swedish Armed Forces' Parade.     1. I believe that they all wear subdued colors in respect of Queen Margrethe II's mourning . The King and she are first cousins after all.

    2. Victoria was wearring a bright purple outfit under the coat and she wore it early that day. I think its cause its winter...

    3. Possible. It's just an observation. Historically all hues of purple, including amethyst jewelry, would be worn during mourning period by those ladies who didn't wear all black of deep mourning. Which these ladies don't have to, but they have been very close family friends of the Queen and Prince Consort
