Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa currently makes a 3 day state visit to France upon invitation of French President. On March 19, 2018, Grand Duke Henri and his wife Maria Teresa were welcomed by French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron with a state ceremony at Elysee Palace in Paris. Oh my, somebody needs a heavy-duty bra.

  2. Mme Macron’s dress is a lovely color and design but she is in desperate need of a good support bra.
The grand Duchess is very pretty here. The coat has soft shoulders, very becoming, instead of that padded style she used to have. I understand the reason she thinks she she needs to wear a dress but pants are so much more becoming for her figure and can be worn for every occasion. Coat would then need to be shorter. She has a
beautiful face and smile and always seems to engage fully in these events.

  6. I think Brigitte Macron´s problem is her size. She is very slim, and hence wears small sizes, but many things end up looking TOO small on her. I understand that she likes short skirts, but this dress is not intended to be a minidress, it´s just too small. The sleeves are to short, the shoulders are tight, the waistline ends up right under her bust and makes her bosom look unfortunate.
Although this dress´ style is more elegant than some of the other stuff she´s worn, the overall look still isn´t elegant or polished. Her poor posture doesn´t help either.

Maria-Teresa´s outfit is impeccable, but I wish she´d chosen a slightly darker tone for her tights, and gone a little lighter on the make-up.

  7. MarĂa Teresa Mestre is “Cuban Royalty”. Most may not understand what that means but those who do, get it. Her upbringing and schooling were of the utmost excellence. Additionally, she has always been beautiful.

  8. Brigitte needs to lower her hemlines. Dress would be fine with a longer hemline. Looks like she is trying to make herself youthful, but this is not the way to do it. Also she needs to be fitted for a more supportive bra. I like her and dislike that I sound critical, but this is constructive criticism.

  9. Mme Macron is obviously trying too hard to compensate for the age difference. And not in a very classy way. Surprising for a French lady. Although we typecast too easily on such things as ‘French chic’. Very big difference between Mme Macron and Christine Lagarde. Almost same age, both in the public eye... and only one looks classy (guess which one...).

  10. I know Brigitte wants to try and look as young as her husband so as not to keep reminding people that he was a teenager and she a married women in her thirties when they started hooking up. However, she is in her sixties now. Her posture is stooped and she looks pathetic trying to dress like a girl in her twenties or thirties. She passed that age thirty/forty years ago. M-T looks lovely. She has such a beautiful face, and I think this flowing gown looks lovely on her as well as the color.
