In connection with first day of Castrum Doloris, Danish royal family visited Prince Henrik's coffin which was brought to Christiansborg Palace Church in Copenhagen. The coffin was brought to Christiansborg Chapel yesterday evening and it will stay at the Palace Church for three days for the final farewell. The funeral services will take place on February 20, Tuesday. Prince Henrik died on Tuesday evening last week at Fredensborg Palace which is the summer residence of the Royal couple.

Prince Henrik of Denmark, has died at the age of 83

Danish Royal Court has made the sad announcement that Prince Henrik, husband of Queen Margrethe II, has passed away at the age of 83. Prince Henrik was hospitalised for a lung infection and a benign lung tumour in late January, and returned home to Fredensborg Castle on Tuesday "to spend his last days", the palace said. Prince Henrik, has died, the palace announced on Wednesday. He was 83. The statement said: "His Royal Highness Prince Henrik died peacefully in his sleep Tuesday 13 February at 11.18pm, at Fredensborg Palace.  the Queen and their two sons were at his side"

Royal Couples visited the Holmenkollen ski museum and attended an event organised by the Norwegian Ski Federation, where they join local nursery children in a number of outdoors activities at Holmenkollen.

Norway visit of Prince William and Duchess Catherine 2nd day

On the second day of their visit to Norway, Prince William and Duchess Catherine of Cambridge, accompanied by Crown Prince Haakon of Norway and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway visited Hartvig Nissen Upper Secondary School and attended a meeting with students who are in the cast of Norwegian television show SKAM. Skam is a drama series and emphasizes the difficulties that young people experience. Afterwards, the Duke and Duchess went to Skaugum, the official residence of the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess of Norway for a special lunch. Prince Edward's and Countess Sophie's visit to Sri Lanka

Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex and Countess Sophie of Wessex is currently making a visit to Sri Lanka. Prince Edward and Countess Sophie of Wessex arrived at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport on Wednesday and were welcomed by Sri Lankan State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wasantha Senanayake. In the afternoon, The Earl and Countess of Wessex visited the British company "Third Space Global" located at Orion City IT Park in Colombo. Third Space Global supports education in Sri Lanka with free of charge e-learning centers for children and free of charge teaching workshops for teachers. Sri Lanka visit will last for 5 days.
