  1. Smoking has had big effect to her face, so deep wrinkles at age 46.

  2. She smoked when she was YOUNG, after she married she stopped smoking. Your comment isn't nice, nor based on serious information. I am proud of her because she SHOWS her age, does NOT botox like her fellow queens. She talks with a lot of experession in her face....then you are ALIVE and get wrinkels sooner than others. I am not going to mention the botoxed queens her by name.....I am not even a Royalist, but Max has brains, has a DOUBLE job and working hard. Leave her alone! Your remark has nothing to do with FASHION....all those narrow minded haters, unbelievable.

    3. Noon en Len, I fully agree with your comment. I don't know how long or how much Máxima smoked, but it is obvious that she had not had any Botox or fillers like other Royals ( and I am not again this choice either) I can bet that she could look 20 years younger if she would choose to do so.

    4. Come on ladies we all know that Blondiini is not a snarky person. I really think her comment is perhaps being taken in a very negative manner. If she wanted to be rude about it she could have said something very ugly. Smoking does leave its mark even if you quit yrs ago. She did not say she was ugly or needed botox. Noon I think your thoughts on all of it are well written and I agree that aging gracefully is wise and beautiful. We ALL do know the botox gals. We have discussed it many times here. I do not recall Blondiini ever endorsing turning your face into stone. I really think you jumped on her comment a little too much. As in taking it some place that was not the intent of her words.

    5. How an earth did you get from my comment a conclusion I want her or anybody else use any botox? I do not think you can find a nick here who writes constantly more AGAINST botox and who praises more for example Camilla´s beauty with her wrinkles. I believe this world tries far too much to be young for ever and look artificialy as juvenile. I just said she has deep wrinkles to her age.

About her smoking; I am glad if she has quit it, but she was smoking before, even when she was pregnant and near her kids when they were young. There have been pictures of it. Smoking makes skin age young, that is of course fact.

  3. I agree, Diane. Let's retract the claws.
Who is to say why we have the face/skin we have - sun exposure, past bad habits, genetics. What is more important is the character we see, the charm, the friendliness. There isn't enough botox on the planet to recreate that.

  4. I think her face is very nice, she seems very kind and approachable. However I think she should take better care of her hair.

  5. I have no claws out and far too old for virtual fights. She gave her opinion and I gave mine, that's all, as far as I am concerned!

    1. Perhaps Noon but you said her comment was not nice. Which is kind of a judgment and I believe that this was not her intent. I think saying someone has made a not very nice remark is rather... catty when it is based on misinterpretation ...and that is just my opinion. I have interacted with Blondiini for several yrs and have never read her to be not nice or mean spirited in her comments. Not her style.

  6. Maxima looks exactly what a woman looks at her age. She is 46 now, I believe. She does not have much wrinkles, look at photo No. 2, how youthful she looks, you might think she is in her late thirties. Of course Mette-Marit who is just two years younger has a flawless skin compared to Maxima. But these are completely different types of women. Maxima is a Latina, she loves the sun, maybe she did smoke in her life, I don't know about that, it is not of any interest to me. Her face looks warm and lifely, I like that she is not that much into botox and fillers and I like that her face shows so much emotions. She does have some deep traces on her forehead, that's true, but this is due to her habitude to raise her eyebrows when she shows interest.

  7. Maxima spends much time outside biking and boating and living her loving life. She swims and keeps her youthful glow. Queen Maxima looks glorious in the photos and I love her skirt and sweater. She has an athletic figure, so healthy.
