  1. Catherine has an 11 year old hat from Sandhurst. Nice hair and
    outlook..

  2. Simple and chic. Very nice look. The hat is beautiful and suits her perfectly.

  3. Catherine is impeccably dressed.
The queen and princess Alexandra look elegant too. It's so nice to see Alexandra more often recently.
Sophie's dress misses the mark, I think.

  4. Perhaps we shouldn’t be commenting on clothes, given the occasion is to commemorate the brave, fallen soldiers who died for their country.

    1. You make a valid point - I say this as the daughter of a veteran of WWII. Next year I will keep this in mind.

    2. Well, as they've obviously put some thought into their outfits - they all look very elegant - I don't agree.

    3. I don’t think all that much thought was put into their outfits. The outfit had to be black, understated and dignified for the service. I don’t think there is a need to comment for every occasion.

    4. If people don't want to comment they don't need to, obviously.

We will have to disagree on whether the outfits were thought about. Catherine has clearly had her hair styled and is wearing a statement hat, as is Sophie. Catherine's coat is not exactly fade into the background.

They look elegant, appropriate and dignified (as you say) - I don't see any harm in saying so, it doesn't detract from my appreciation of a solemn occasion and the sacrifices made by so many.

  5. They all look good. I really like Catherine's outfit, hat and especially her hair. Princess Alexandra looks very elegant as always. I think Sophie's dress is fine but maybe she should have worn a poppy corsage rather than brooch so it stood out more.
