King Philippe's and Queen Mathilde's visit to India 5th day

On November 10, 2017, on the fifth day of their visit to India, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited the Cricket Maidan of UNICEF in Mumbai city of India. The king and the Queen met with cricket students and played cricket with the children.

Then, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium met with Belgian Dr. (Sr.) Jeanne Devos who is the founder of The National Domestic Workers’ Movement (NDWM), and members of that organization.

Jeanne Devos is a Belgian priestess and missionary, and founded The National Domestic Workers’ Movement in India as a defender of one of the weakest groups of the society. She was nominated for Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts.

Founded in 1985, NDWM organizes domestic workers and improves their rights. It currently works in 17 states across India. In addition, The National Domestic Workers's Federation (NDWF) was founded in 2013 for the purpose of making domestic workers more organized in the structure of a union.

  4. Love both outfits. I think the first dress is fine - it's loose, modest and pretty. Perfect to have a go - she wasn't taking part in a match.

  5. Smart tailor and designers! They know the culture and esp 2 nd outfit would be so loved by the Indians! Even more so if she had worn a sari.. But she came close! Lovely folks.
