Dutch Royal Family attended Erasmus 2017 Prize ceremony

King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima and Princess Beatrix of The Netherlands attended Erasmus Prize 2017 ceremony of The Praemium Erasmianum Foundation, held at Amsterdam Royal Palace. King Willem-Alexander presented Erasmus 2017 Prize to Canadian Sociology Professor Michèle Lamont. Michèle Lamont is a professor of Harvard University and she was deemed worthy of Erasmus Prize this year because of her researches and contributions in fields such as cultural sociology, inequality, race and migration, and comparative sociology.
