  1. Oh my goodness...that hair! Spoils whatever effect the dress has. Makeup is too understated also.

  2. I am surprised her hair dresser does not make a proper cut and stop bleaching, Maxima´s hair is in terrible condition really. The dress is lovely.

  3. Yes, this time I agree she could have at least run a comb through her hair. The fabric of that dress is lovely, but something is wrong w/the bodice.

  7. Dear Maxima, please stop dying your naturally brown hair into a fake, damaged blond. Your daughters are naturally blond and strawberry blond. You are not. You hair is in terrible condition and looks like it is falling out and thinning due to years chemical stress. You are an effusive and attractive personality with great individual style. Unfortunately, your hair, left wild, undermines appearances.

  8. There are times when Queen Maxima looks spectacular. But, to my mind, she often gets it wrong in the fashion stakes. Many times her choices are too bold or the colours too loud. In this case, the dress is pretty, but is ill-fitting and the clinging, shiny fabric is challenging even for someone with a supermodel figure. And yes, I agree, her hair is very untidy and unbecoming for a lady in her position.

  9. I think a short bob would look nice on her and keep it some what manageable.

  10. Royalty fan 4 October 2017

And to think as princess, and the 1st few years as a queen, her hair was always styled - mini chignons - or what ever, to the nines. I say again, I wish she can cut and have it styled like Laurentien

  11. The hair is, as it usually is, terrible.

I love the colour of the dress and I even like the style with the dramatic sleeves. However, as is usual with Natan, the execution is sloppy and he is obsessed with shiny, stiff, satin fabric - even when it's not the right material to use. I don't understand why the Benelux royals wear so much of his stuff.

  12. I sound like a broken record, but that HAIR! It's disgusting, and an affront to her hosts

  13. I love the cut and colour of the dress. The sleeves makes the dress. I love it. I wonder if the Queen cuts her hair of even have an old fashion bob style? Due to the texture of her hair she can't wear her hair this length therefore it does look untidy. But she has a beautiful smile, spontaneous personality. She is a great Queen.
