Swedish Royal Family attended Te-Deum service for Prince Gabriel Carl Walther

Today, The Royal Chapel held a Te-Deum service in order to celebrate the birth of Prince Gabriel Carl Walther, Duke of Dalarna who is the newborn second son of Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia. Te-Deum church service was attended by King Carl XVI Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Madeleine and Christopher O'Neill. (Princess Madeleine wore a new floral print dress by Erdem. We saw the same dress on Crown Princess Mette-Marit during her Literary Train tour on June 9th, 2017.)

  1. Love Queen Silvia's suit! New babies are abounding. Madeleine pregnant and now it has been announced that Duchess of Cambridge is also pregnant. Next year is really going to be a bumper crop of babies!

  2. That floraldress looks better on Madeleine. Victorias dress is quite boring. Silvia looks good.

    2. That is true, but they have different bodies. I love the dress. Silvia looks good, Chris looks bored, like most of the time. Victoria's dress is as boring as her hair style. It would have looked better in A vivid green.

    3. ...I think Chris looks serious and solemn. Not bored. But I guess everyone sees things differently and from their POV :)
Glad that he could attend Te Deum but as per usual, he's likely to get negative comments :( I honestly feel sorry for him!

  3. I totally agree with Lilla. The men all look great. Looking forward to a new picture of Prince Gabriel Carl and his mother.

  4. Silvia looks lovely. Madeleine's dress is okay (a bit folksy) but Victoria's is very bland and rather out of sync with the formal morning coats on the men.
It's interesting that only Silvia wore a hat when this would have been a good occasion to wear one.
Chris looks like he would rather be somewhere else...

  5. All men look great. Glad that Chris O'Neill could also attend.
Queen Silvia looks very elegant and glad that she wore a hat. Victoria's dress fits weirdly around her bust and belly and the color was just a meh. Madeleine's floral dress looks very lovely and she's already showing a small baby bump :)

  6. Chris O'Neill looks like he is a bit troubled, maybe best not to show up if he's not up to it?
He does really look like being a bit unhealthy, and older than his years.

  7. Madeleine is the winner this time and her hair is beautifully put up. The queen is also very pretty, very nice suit. As already mentioned Victoria makes me yawn this time, a hat would have lifted this look a lot for her. I think Chris is just one of those people that doesn't do well in pictures. Every video I've seen of him, makes him look a lot better and charming.

  8. The Queen's day suit and hat are very smart. A wise choice for Victoria to look nice and not steal the spotlight. Madeleine looks lovely, wish she had spent a few minutes to color coordinate her husband's vest and tie. At least with his suit, if not with her outfit.
