Princess Martha Louise attended a costume party

A few days ago, Princess Martha Louise of Norway attended a costume party held on the occasion of 50th birthday of Jan Age Fjortoft, a former Norwegian footballer. The costume party was with "80s theme" and all guests attended the party with outfits of 80s. At the party, the Princess wore a latex trouser and a blue leopard printed blouse and she also wore a blonde wig.

  1. Definitely 80s and bad 80s at that! She reminds me of Gunilla von Bismarck here.

    1. Badest 80s interpretation I have ever seen. She does not look good here at all. Is this really Martha Louise? Don't even recognize her face.

    2. Agree doesn't look like Martha Louise . When I first read it I immediately looked at the women behind her thinking that was her ! Profile in second picture does not resemble her at all. Surprising what dress up can do

  2. One thing I can't see where that wig is curly. Terrible 80's outfit.

  3. Is this what the 80s looked like? Seriously? That's not my recollection, although I had small kids and wasn't all that into fashion then.

    1. Not in my memories. The blouse is 80s disco dressing right with big shoulders etc, but the hair looks very weird. Also I was dress girl so my memories can be different really. Or I was not fashionable enough... LOL

    2. I think she's used crimping irons on the hair/wig - I remember that being in with some of my friends during the 80s. I think it's an exaggerated version of 80s fashion for the fancy dress theme.

Bit scary when the period of my life when I was in my teens is now considered long enough ago to be a fancy dress theme!!!

  4. Again since my last was sensurd? Why I must ask? Let them have fun! We don't have to criticise everything they do to pieces. And happy birthday to her sister in law MM who celebrates her 44 birthday today. Since this blog doesn't usually mention her birthday we do it this way ;)

    1. I agree! Princess Martha has really been very elegant and beautiful lately, but this a private theme party, and just as everybody else, she should be allowed to have some fun.
