  3. Two beautiful ladies. The blue-gray color is lovely on Mathilde and the softly raised lace is appealing. I liked Catherine's outfit when she wore it to Charlotte's Christening and I still like it. Glad she paired with gray instead of nude heels.

  4. I'm surprised to see Q.M. wear a frilly lace coat to such a grave ceremony. In my view a very inappropriate fabric for this occasion. The hats of both ladies do not help either, they look pretty ridiculous to be honest. Maybe nice for Ascot but not to commemorate one of the bloodiest battles in WW I.

  5. I gasped when I saw Queen Mathilde - this is the most beautiful I have ever seen her - altogether perfect. Her "work dresses" seem to me to be a little small, too short and high waisted. Perhaps just my opinion.

    The men look good too...

  7. They all look very nice and appropriate. Like others said before, I appreciate that Kate has dropped those Gianvitto Rossi suede pumps. These grey ones look perfect with this outfit. Top marks from my end to all four of them.

  9. Both look great - sober enough for the event but elegant enough to show care has been taken with the outfits. I like both ladies outfits - yes, Catherine has many coat dresses (her uniform that works for her) but I particularly like this one and its clean lines. The soft grey lace of Mathilde's outfit is also lovely.

  12. The Duchess and Queen looked stunning. Beautiful dresses. There were pictures where they did look very sober. The Duchess looked radiant. Love both royal ladies hats. Smart and classy.

  13. Both women could not look more beautiful. Mathilde tried something new and she looks amazing. I think the gray makes it look somber enough for the occasion.
