  1. Nice dress. And they look very happy.

  2. The dress is fine for me. I am just struck by the positive transformation in her entire affect and personality. She looks confident and radiant--just plain happy. Maybe they should move to Poland or Germany? 😉

  3. The comments on the Duchess become more and more rude and offensive. I am no longer enjoying this site - the pictures are lovely but the comment section seems to have been taken over by people who delight in making nasty personal comments.

    1. Agree. Then it is up to us to stop negativity and to respond to nastiness. Having said that, The Duchess' dress looks much nicer close up than in the distance. And she and her husband are showcasing the best of British ie good manners and decency.

    3. Barbara I AGREE! I rarely comment these days as you all know. But I have been really shocked at some of the meaness. Seems there are many new ppl who are not so nice.

      What a shame.

      This can destroy a blog.
      Hi Anna-Marie

    6. I am having trouble with posting tonight. I want to agree that comments about her have become very nasty. We are here to discuss fashion. Unkind personal attacks have no place here - or anywhere, for that matter.
She seems to be a perfectly nice young woman doing a tricky job in the public eye while raising a family. It's a delight to see what she wears and to share constructive comments. It would be nice if the trolls would leave but I doubt that will happen.
That said, I love the dress.

    7. Barbara, as I said in a former reply to Monty, I think the Duchess as one of the most famous women worldwide is a projectionsurface for many.

    8. Hi Diane, nice to read you again. Please come back :-))) The more commenters here share their well-grounded, qualified thoughts about royal fashion and appearance, the sooner these plain and mean commenters will disappear. They will find it boring ;-))

    9. Hi Beth and Diane. So nice, to have you back. I started to read this blog mainly because of your profound commentaries about fashion and learnt a lot. Miss your statements, which are never rude. Thank you Ladies, I agree 100 percent. And: Katherine looks lovely and she is doing a fine job.

    10. Add me to the list of those troubled by negative comments. It's one thing to dislike a certain outfit, but quite another to be unkind about the person!

  4. Wonder what she carries in her purses. Either they are almost flat or so tiny you can't get much in them. Maybe she carries it because it has a tracker embedded in case of an emergency.

  5. In a creative, innovative, art, culture, style and fashion environment the Duchess dazzled in a WOW dress and a very chic belt. Just the Duchess of Cambridge to wear a German designer teal bird print jacquard dress. Those Prada sandals are gorgeous.

    1. I liked the same Prada sandals in black also. I was surprised I found this to be a WOW look also. All elements are wow. Not because of the Duchess (*am I surprised) but because I struggle with busy/loud prints. I find it strikingly beautiful. Really love their goodwill tours. They represent their country with pride.

  6. Another nice look for the Duchess of Cambridge - I like the dress and sandals very much. They are both obviously enjoying this tour very much.

  7. The belt she chose really lifted this dress and I love those shoes, one of her nicer looks and the bond between she and William seems to grow.

  8. The belt she chose really lifts this dress and I am in love with those shoes. She and William seem to have a nice bond between them. Still not a fan of this hair, maybe some hihglights would lift it, I think Mary lightened her hair recently and it really worked for her.

  12. Now, this is a beautiful look and a beautiful dress. Love it! On the Markus Lupfer website you can see the beautiful details, the pleated lines, the perfect neckline and armholes. Is this a layer dress? With a straight underdress and a chiffon pleated cover dress?

I always thought that dark green is a great color on Catherine. And with this dress the Prada sandals finally work fine, whereas they were a flop with the red party dress.

  16. Really beautiful dress and that belt was perfect addition.
Those sandals look so sexy and I love her hair styled like this.
    She looks young and elegant.

  17. She looks fantastic in this outfit. All the pieces- belt, shoes, dress, bag go together so well.

As for Will, well i never really notice what he's wearing. I sometimes wonder if it would be a relief to know that people are mainly focusing on what you say and very little on what you wear. You can get up every morning and instead of spending time putting together an outfit, you have to put together a coherent comment. As a women, I think that would be such a refreshing change.

    3. Hello Rainha,

I firstly apologize if you have any comment which you think that it was deleted unfairly.

Comment system used on our website is rather complicated, sometimes the comment system may delete some comments upon perceiving them as spam. The responses given to a deleted comment by the editor may also be deleted together with the comment.

Sometimes some innocent comments may be deleted so that no discussion arises. You may be sure that I feel more sorry than the user for each deleted comment.

This platform is open to the public and hundres of comments come every day. But blog owners knows very well that many of the coming comments are spam. There are some comments that insult royals personally. So the editors may make mistakes while reviewing the comments.

I can't say that my English is perfect. I try to improve my English. Sometimes I may delete a comment with innocent words thinking that it may involve insult. Mistakes may happen, I hope you tolerate me for those mistakes. Best regards.

And I think you have every right to remove comments that are unnecessarily nasty towards royals or that go out of topic.
All the best to you and all our royal watchers!
