    1. Au couleur de la Pologne, c'est un geste délicat de sa part en tous les cas.

  2. Little George does not seem to be happy. Personally, I don't think such young children gain anything by this sort of 'visit' except the fact that they're with their parents. People all over go ooh and aah over them. It has to be hard them to understand all the brouhaha.

    1. Lizzie, I know what you mean - I felt so bad for George a year or two ago at an air show. The press all wrote about his "tantrum," when he was clearly just frightened by the noise. (And perhaps all the flashbulbs in his face). The way people project on the children of royal families (and celebrities, for that matter) is ridiculous and inappropriate. Save it for the famous adults who can (or ought to be able to) handle it!

  5. They are wearing clothes in colours of Polish flag -red and white. It is very nice to my country:)

  6. Catherine - same old, same old. Nothing that I hate but nothing that I love either.

I think George and Charlotte look fine - George is smart without being fussy and Charlotte's dress is very pretty.

  7. I think I am the only one who doesn't like the Duchess' new hair. It flows into her face and it seems messy to me. Furthermore classical blow dry and up-to-date long bob doesn't work together for me. Anyway I can hardly diferrentiate her numerous white peplum coat dresses. But the youngsters are so cute!

    1. I think she is going 'Kardashian' with the center part! Lol.. but seriously, I think she looks better. It's more age appropriate and suitable for her role.

    2. I do NOT like Kate's new hair too. She looks older and does not age well. The kids and herself have outdated clothing

    3. Winnie-She should look order, she is in her mid-30s. Her previous hairstyle made her look like she was in her mid-20s. I also think her clothing is classic, and as such, is never outdated.

    4. @Szilvia, no you are not the only one, I don't like it at all, this is not a long bob, this is no hairstyle at all, it is just thick long hair shortened to shoulder length, the flat top, the middle parting, the curly ends, that give too much volume on the neckline. It looks poor in my eyes, not a good proportion for her face and figure. Together with her bad posture it adds to a tired an ininspired expression. She needs totally new stylists, for clothes, hair and make-up.

  8. Kate has been back at her A-game these past two appearances (Poland arrival and Wimbledon men's finals), in my opinion. I understand that she's worn McQueen, peplums, and nude pumps many times before, but this is a look that really works for her. I think a uniform is better than getting it so wrong so often. And her hair! is SO. MUCH. BETTER. I had all but given up on Kate, what with those half-back beehives. Her hairdos were a combination of schoolgirl, sister wife and Miss Havisham. Love love love her new style.

  9. Love her look. So what if she has similar clothes! Don't we all tend to repeat what we like and what we think works on us?
I'm not sure I like the centre hair part but it's not bad.
And please put the little guy in long pants - I don't care what the so-called english tradition is. No wonder he looks ticked off!

    1. You may not care about the tradition but I very much doubt it's going to change. George and shorts are around for another few years, I'm afraid. And it is summer at the moment...

    2. Why should a 4-year-old boy wear long pants at the height of summer? Should he look like a fake mini adult to suit some silly current style? He is not a Kardashian. Nor is he American. It is a centuries-old upper class English tradition for boys to wear short pants until later childhood. That should be respected. Good for Catherine and William for being who they are.

    3. Et en hiver les pauvres petits garçons ont les genoux gelés .triste coutume britannique !

    4. It's character forming, Myriam 😜

  10. Catherine is perfect for arrival on a national tour. Suit is well-fitted and elegant. The red touches respect and acknowledge Poland. Shorter hair is such a relief to see. She no longer looks like a prisoner to her teenage past. And the ruby and diamond jewels are gorgeous!

  11. They all look just fine to me. The use of a peplum on Duchess Catherine's outfits gives her some shape. I just love the dress and fabulous belt on the Polish leader's wife. You can tell these children have had skillful teacher/nanny/parenting. Wouldn't you love to know what Prince William is telling George? They are very well-behaved.

  12. Is it me, is it an illusion or do the hems Kate's skirts and coat dresses etc. sit lower at the back than they do at the front?

I think Charlotte looks very sweet, and Kate's ensemble is quite bland, not because of the lack of colour, because it doesn't have a "wow" factor.

  13. I think Kate looks lovely, nothing spectacular, but elegant and fresh. I do like her new hair a lot. I don't see anything wrong wit a boy wearing shorts, but these short, shorts? and black socks with dress shoes, I get that he is a little prince, but in my opinion they could relax the dress code a little and let him look like most boys look nowadays.

  14. Oh come on ladies who criticise Kate's appearance. She looks great, elegant and appears to be warm and friendly, while being elegant. She is not a clothes horse but is representing her country very well.

  15. The children are adorable. William and Kate have a healthy balance of allowing access to the children, whilst preserving a "normal" childhood for them.
Not many times you see an outfit on Kate and think it looks better on the model, but this is one of them. Looked at this and have to say, even though it's an Alexander McQueen, I preferred the Hugo Boss peplum ensemble Letizia wore last week !

  16. George's shorts are ok, I think if they were just a tad bit longer they would look better.

  17. Brilliant Duchess of Cambridge and her family. The style icon!!

  18. This was actually a very elegant, stylish garment (coatdress) the duchess was wearing. Saw some spectacular photos of their arrival and great photos of the coatdress. Photos on this blog don't give credit to the coatdress. This dress fits the Duchess to perfection and the "Kate Bob" is a winner. Her make-up with lipstick was also done to perfection highlight and emphasize her beautiful eyes and facial profile. Don't forget the sparkle in her eyes. She look fresh, radiant and young.
