Japan visit of Queen Letizia and King Felipe - Last Day

On the last day of their Japan visit, King Felipe and Queen Letizia together with Japan's Empress Michiko and Emperor Akihito visited Shizuoka Prefecture Earthquake Disaster Prevention Center in Shizuoka, Japan on April 7, 2017.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia, Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko watch the clock which was presented by King Felipe III of Spain to warlord Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1611. The clock, kept at the shrine dedicated to the first shogun, was given to the first shogun as a gift from the Spanish king to thank the sea rescue of Spanish sailors aboard a ship that wrecked in the waters off Chiba, east of Edo, former Tokyo.

  2. Letizia's suit is a gorgeous colour and she looks elegant, but the look somehow seems to lack a wow factor. Maybe it would have been better with a less girlish hairstyle.
    The empress looks good - a more dramatic colour choice than usual.
