  1. La princesse Mette-Marit est ma princesse préférée mais je n'aime pas du tout cette robe d'un autre temps. Elle ne l'avantage pas du tout.

  2. How many of these dreadful LHOTP dresses does she own?

    1. Too many Romana......way too many!

    2. That was my reaction too! She is too old to wear that style - although I'm not sure if it works at any age past pre-school!

  3. I dont really like the outfit.

  4. So we are back to Little House on the Prairie. I do not like it.

  5. There's just not even a point in critiquing MM's outfit anymore. Let's just sit and wait for spring so at least when she does wear her little house on the prairie dresses it won't be with those black tights.

    1. It's sad that a high point would be seeing the black tights disappear.

  6. Let us just be truthful. Haakon is not exactly killing it either. He wears those pants and that jacket all the time. I get liking comfy clothes. I also tend to wear some things over and over. But I am not a CP of ANY country. And I got ragged on before for saying this but I will say it again these ppl should at least TRY to look somewhat like they care. The I rolled out of bed and put on what I feel comfy in is wearing thin w me and I suspect with many of you as well. If they don't want the job then leave it! The senior royals never look so messy.

This inattention to at least some detail is off putting and if I lived in these countries I would be mad. The lady at the local cleaners is dressed better than MM.

    Go ahead and bash.

    Meh

    1. Taste is not a matter of being a royal : either you have it or not.

    2. Estoy completamente de acuerdo contigo, Diane. Ellos son tal para cual, dos desastres vistiéndose de una manera impropia para unos príncipes herederos. Al menos, Haakon se mantiene en buena forma...

    3. Fully agree with you Diane, spot on! Same applicable to Stephanie & her hubby in Luxembourg. Personal drama or not, having a bad day or not, feeling ill or not, these people live off from tax payer's money and have a constitutional duty to present themselves properly and with a brave happy face

    4. Personally I think MM is just having a bad period... for the past three to five years.
Just kiddin'! :) I agree with you Diane, you say "it happens" one or two or ten times even if she's a royal but this has been going on for how long, two years or even more? It's a string of outfit disasters with two or three better appearances per year, but my guess those just happen by accident :)

    5. Diane, you are absolutely correct. Haakon does look sloppy. Casual is one thing, but the same clothes every time? And that scarf...

    6. Well said Diane! I fully agree. It's like that equally as a couple they are both in this "I don't care about my appearance" stage.

    7. Totally agree with each word! Gee that horrible dress again! She could at least hire a stylist, i am sure she has no money problem

    8. I agree with most of it Diane! Hopefully King Harald will still live for a very long time!

  7. No bashing Diane! You are right with every word you're saying. Me too, I am so fed up with the appearance of these two. Respectless to their role, to their duty, to the people they meet. Mette-Marits appearance is beyond words, and I can't see Haakon anymore in this well known casual outfit with this same scarf tightly wrapped around his neck. To be fair he can do better, when he wants to.

They look like outdated villagers who live an isolated life somewhere in the mountains of Norway but now and then they fall into town like aliens and MM puts on a face like a shy and clumsy schoolgirl from the 19th cebtury. Honestly what is wrong with these people?

  8. Honestly? With her way of dressing to me she shows her true personality (also think of her past and her first year in the Royal family)... I wonder if she likes her privileged job ...or any other at all?

  10. To me you sound exagerated now...it s not that they shown themselves in public like homeless ...come on..just some mistakes in a dressing, they are human after all!!

  11. I think MM could have got away with this dress under this jacket had she worn a really nice pair of suede boots, to balance the top and the lower section of the outfit. With the dark tights and shoes it just doesn't work. MM in herself is as lovely as ever.
