  1. Wow, very chic! And she obviously is in good contact with the people working at that centre.

    1. Fully agree. It is obvious that she is very interested in the institution. The dress is lovely.

  3. Lovely colour and shape. And lovely little clips in her hair. Oh, wait...

I think I got to the point when I'm a bit fed up with Kate's new coats. It's... all too much. Too many new ones, too much of bespoke designer luxury, too expensive pieces. I'd like to see more of her old pieces, differently styled, or less expensive high street ones, like the ones she often wore two-three years ago. I don't agree with those who can't stop complaining about her having "too few" engagements, I have expressed my opinion on that several times here, I think she's doing fine and probably the exact amount of work the Queen requires from her and she has plenty of time ahead to multiply her engagements when her role changes but I started to sense a lack of balance between the number of engagements and her spending on clothes. Especially coats :)
Just an opinion of course, not even that: an impression, and I mean well, I don't think she lives in a world where she has the opportunity to realize such things. So no need to agree, just don't throw bricks at me! :)

  4. I love the coat and it's a flattering colour. She looks very nice. (Not sure about the hair clips though.)
She does "recycle" some of her coats, such as the green one at the church service at New Year.

  5. There's no denying that the coat is beautifully made, pretty and fits Kate perfectly but it's all just so boring! Every winter it's the exact same coat dresses over and over again except that they're all new. The same style of fitted at the waist flared out at the bottom, the same suede shoes, and clutch. Kate is just a very bland and vanilla woman, while it's nothing wrong with it, there's also nothing wrong with trying something new. Plus side, I'm glad she's not wearing too much eyeliner.

    1. I agree with everything you said - new dress, but same old boring style!
Please no more waisted coat dresses, no more suede high heel pointed pumps, no more clutch. We have seen it all over again.
I would love to see her in an elegant business style outfit, like Letizia. (Of course not a blind copy!)

And she should do something with that hair, it is just long, nothing more. I wouldn't actually call it a hairstyle.

  6. Beautiful, stylish chic Duchess of Cambridge. The style icon, appropriate dress for the occasion and dress to the T.

  7. She really looks lovely, and I like her appearance very much, but I must agree with Chelsea; I miss sometimes more bold and modern style she was famous for when she wore high street fashion more frequently. And yes, ZL, for such day time event she could choose less expensive piece or recycle old ones more often.

  9. She should have worn black tights and shoes, what she is wearing now
    makes it look so fussy.
