    1. Yes, my first thought was that she looked ill. I hope that's not the case.

    2. Yes, she looks not well, and the wide runny dress and even her necklace even add to the impression of tiredness. This event must be exhausting for her.

  3. Cannot believe Victoria´s gown is made by Hennes & Mauritz.

  5. Victoria is magnificent--head to toe. Madeleine's gown is a lovely color on her but the skirt portion is fussy and heavy. That shade of deep green is pretty on Sofia--I am surprised that she did not wear her diamond and emerald tiara with it.

  8. Best looking royal will always be Princess Madeleine and her husband. Always afraid Daniels smile will crack his face. Victoria looks very old and dress is too much

    1. I don't agree. Madeleine's husband is not a good looking man, he is not ageing well, soon he will be grey haired and pot-belled. He already is. He never looks really centered and poised to me. Although you are right with Daniel, he seems to have just one face expression on official events.

    2. Beth, what you say about Chris O'Neill is absolutely true!

    3. Agree! While Daniel is Swedish Clark Kent. Loving Victorias dress. So queeny. And H&M, way to promote your countries business!

    4. Queeny from three centuries. With this dress Victoria can ride a horse side ways! Men going grey is very sexy. Chris O'Neill is a gentleman and very sexy. At least he doen't have a dead fish expression on his face like old Daniel.

  9. WOW! For Victorias appearance I can find only one word - regal. From head to toe. Look how she wears her head, her neck, her shoulders in this one shoulder gown, her waist!! Stunning and majestic! I think she will take over soon from her father, welcome Her Majesty Queen Victoria :-)))

And for Madeleine, not a good dress, too busty on the top and too bulky on the skirt. She has a pretty face, but it's time to leave this ballet princess style behind.

  10. The only flawless gown is Victoria's gown but not with that kind of jacket.
    It ruins the whole look.

    1. The fur jacket was only worn by her to ascend the stairs outside. It was actually snowing in Stockholm that night, so this is quite understandable. I wouldn't want to catch a cold either, so better wrap yorself up a little.

  11. Still amazed by Victoria! On an off note...Sofia really makes this tiara shine. I believe it is also a steel cut tiara but it is beautiful because it fits her face. I have not liked it on Victoria and she has worn it at least two times.

  12. I cannot understand why Sofia chose the dress she did. As for Madeleine's dress, whether one likes it or not (and I do) it is an appropriate regal dress for such an important major event. Victoria's dress, too, is perfect for a crown princess.

  13. Oh, wow. All ladies had new evening gowns.
Crown Princess Victoria looked gorgeous and she seemed to accent with that grand dress that she's the next queen, it will be her time soon. Its the best gown H&M has created. This dress showed how great shape Victoria has.
I'd say that Princess Madeleine looked like fairytale princess. Very soft and romantic gown. It was right dress to team with Connaught tiara. Its good to see her so happy and content and beautiful.
Princess Sofia's gown was of lovely jewel color but its design looked strange, especially with that tiara. Disliked her makeup and somehow she looked like woman who's much older than early 30s (wrongly choosen dark tones can age a lot).
