  1. Lovely photo ~

Wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas Hellen and thank you for running this blog that allows all of us the ability to follow our royals. We sometimes fuss at each other and disagree but generally it is a fun group and makes for interesting and often lively threads :)

    1. Oh and Happy Hanukah as well! That these two events are on the same day says something to me. In a world that is full of hate I find it comforting to these two Holy days collide. Because peace and love is all we truly need in this world. We are all from the same family ~ the human family 🌍🗺👊👐🕉

  7. OMG… this is the most hideous Christmas tree I've seen!Where has all Queen Margrethe's creative abilities gone.……
Better to let the 8 grandchildren create Christmas decorations and decorate the tree!
    Lovely children!

  8. Its so lovely to see proud granparents with their grandkids.
I was quite surprised to learn that The Queen have been on the Danish throne nearly 45 years (she has reigned since 14 January 1972).

Season's Greetings and Happy New Year to all royal watchers!

  9. I like the idea of the photo but it was poorly executed.
The lighting is awful, I can barely make out everyone's face.

  11. One of the lowest quality pictures we have seen here ever. Taken by person who knows nothing of photography. Bad light, unsharp, most of kids have got hand ambutation.

Happy holidays for all of you.

    1. I agree with you and Lisa about the photo quality.
If it was my family I would be delighted that they were all facing forward and not blurry because one moved too soon! But we expect better from a royal portrait.
